One of the best things I ever did to my 75 Highboy. Super easy to install. Like that the owner installed a steering stabilizer. Was thinking of doing the same. Would love to know what kit he used although mine drives perfectly fine.
I used a Ranchero stabilizer kit. Ranchero RS5000 Steering Stabilizer Single kit. #RS97355. Hope that helps you.

The whine only happens if you keep the ancient pump. Newer Ford pumps and Saginaws are fine.

This would be the best thing ever for the 1973-1978 GMC TZE Motorhome. Those have hydraulic wipers that run off the power steering pump and the V belts just won't stay on the darn things.

This is so cool. My dad bought a 76 F250 4x4 in 77. This steering assist has given trouble for so long he don’t like to drive the old girl. Me and all my siblings learned how to drive in this truck, its been to the woods and rivers, it’s been to so many family repair projects. Gonna save up for this kit

Jody Sanders no nods to the gearbox. This kit is however only for 4x4. Let me know what yr and I can see if a different set up will work for ya
Hello. Don't you have no problem with water in EPS. I usually see it installed inside the vehicle, below the dashboard. thought it was to avoid water or heat from the engine. I'm thinking of installing on my F100 56.
Was about to put them in and decided to check it out first. Everything is illegal in Oregon. Lol now to find a way to put disk breaks on this thing.
Wish those electric breaks were legal in Oregon.

How long does it take to remove the old hydraulic assist and install this kit?
Well obviously disassembly can take some time as the factory parts have been on there for 30-40 yrs. Spray all splined parts and bolts with penetrating fluid. That is key to a quick removal. As far as install time, depending on skill set it can be install in an hr or two easy

Shut up and take my money! Texted you to get the deets. Do you happen to know what belt size you need once the pump is gone...just realized you just cut it. There is nothing else powered by that belt but the power steering pump.

Unfortunately we do not yet. It will require a manual gearbox not a hydraulic gearbox like most f150's have

Yes they are waterproof but submersion or pressure washing directly could damage the unit. What application are you needing one for?

The competitors system is 1400 and you have to take the dash apart and cut and weld to make it happen. Well worth the money!

And that's why I'm gonna go with a conventional power steering setup. I'm not gonna pay $1200+ for power steering. Hella cool setup though. Enjoy.
