Yes there is a reason why these old Mini 500's are so cheap. They look cool but the design is very bad. Poor structural integrity which is highly vulnerable to destructive resonances which in turn lead to cracks and structural failures. If you watch any Mini-500 spooling up on the ground watch the tail boom closely. You'll see it shaking like a dog shitting bones. These things are death traps.

This helicopter has killed so many it. Buy a Helicycle or a Mosquito Helicopter.
