2 years later and Metion's words break me just as much as they did. Just before Endwalker released I moved across the country and know absolutely no one outside of my girlfriend. So it's been trying to rebuild a new life with new people as my immediate family is almost all dead and my sister and I are not close (long story). So loneliness and despair have been long time companions of mine. So being reminded by her what life truly is just broke me again.

Hi there, I don't remember when I stumbled upon this video. But with gladness, joy and sorrow in my heart this hurts in every viable facet available and yet makes me sigh with all the good memories I had playing the game. Try as I might, there are so very few people who can even begin to understand what playing this game meant to me at a particular point of my adult life. All the days and nights playing Shadowbringer and Endwalker, my wife would hear me and come check on me because she knew something was hitting me hard. As I share this video with others, I hope it display the amazing talent of the game as well as your editing.

I used to poke fun at my partner for telling me about all the manly tears this game made him cry. then I played it. I'm about to start Dawntrail and I didn't make it past the 45% mark of the vid without crying.

Endwalker was such a stunning conclusion to a decade long story that truthfully, nothing else has come close to the expansive beaty of the storytelling in over a decade.

There are few stories and fewer games that have touched my heart like FFXIV. This was beautifully edited and I've had it on repeat, fondly crying as i remember what it was like to play Shadowbringers and Endwallker during the pandemic. Those expansions kept me out of a coffin I'd been dodging for a decade. I live with my heart open, and more friends than i ever thought I'd be blessed with.

One of the best expansions I have ever played is Endwalker along side Heavensward and Shadowbringers, ARR was meh, Stormblood was ok same with Dawntrail not amazing but still ok but that’s just my opinion I know others have their own favourites 😊

I absolutely love 14's story, just wish i had more time to play

I really really loved and still love Endwalker. It was the end to the saga that started all the way back in ARR after all. Now that Dawntrail is out, and I'm playing it, I feel almost hostile towards it because it's not Endwalker. It almost sounds like just a phrase if I think about what I wanna say... But - I think this video helped me with closing the chapter of Endwalker. The saga is over and there is a new story to be told. So thank you!

I picked up reaper for EW and I have the golden halo as my main headpiece When I was going against Zeno that looked like a demon with a scythe I charged at him bright yellow and white gear with a golden scythe with the wing and purple crystal on it It looked like a perfect battle between yin and yang EW was a bit slow but holy hell did it pick up in the end

I wanted to start Dawntrail today but I'm not leaving without my eyebrows...they stayed on patch 6.5 (Yeah they didn't solve any issue from benchmark 1.1)
