Staying here now seen no ghostie's place is ok can hear alot of noise from other residents but not fussed stayed in room 357 beds really comfy but nighttime outside is bad lots of homeless hang about on front

It's a kip, don't go here. There 2 weeks ago, outdated apartments, cockroaches all over the apartment, pool in need of repairs, food horrible

Stayed here about 10 years ago, safe to say the guests make a hotel stay and can affect your holiday experience. Woken at 6 a.m. on first night by bottles being thrown by drunken youths onto the roofs of apartments below. Went down for breakfast to see the same youths at a girl’s apartment trashing the place having a water fight. Breakfast eaten walked up the hill from restaurant to see Spanish local Police kicking the youths out of the hotel. No messing about there. Great start to the holiday with young kids I thought. Food was edible. Staff really pleasant. The entertainment team who were employed by a company supplying staff. Only experience to note football game arranged by them was Spain v Rest of the World….mainly late teens adults except one English 15 year old who was punched in the face by a Spanish youth before a ball was kicked. Now the entertainer said to the English youth get your own back during the game! There was an atmosphere for the rest of the holiday between the Spanish youths and this English lad. Never experienced anything like this on holiday before. Gave us something to talk about. Did we go back again….no. Accommodation was basic, it’s somewhere to wash and sleep. As I say the guests can make your experience of a hotel good or bad. Cardiac Hill wasn’t that bad, the hill on the other side of the area is far worse. I find reviews are about your experience at that time. Two weeks later our experience could have been totally different.

I stayed at the Adelphi Hotel on 17th May 2023, in room 301 for £38. I only booked this, as I wanted somewhere to sleep for cheap, as coming back from Tenerife to Manchester Airport, and it was too late for me to get to Norwich, and this hotel was near Liverpool Lime Street. I was amazed by the building, and the grand style of the place, may be if Hilton Hotel ran it, like Nottingham Victoria ex Station hotel that they spend £6.5 million on refurbishment around 2022, then ? but the prices would be a lot higher.

Not the best because of lack of investment by the company who own the hotel.

I don’t think I could inspect the bed because I wouldn’t be able to sleep in it if I saw anything 🥶 AND I don’t do hair! 🤢

I went in December, 400 pound for 5 nights not got one Complaint mint for what I payed

It's not as bad as ppl say . I think it's sometimes which part you stay in . Keep up the blogs road to 100 subs

Been to Tenerife 3 times. 1st stay Sol Tenerife, 2nd stay Laguna Park 2, 3rd stay Laguna Park 1. Stayed in Laguna Park 2 November 2018. Reviews before I went were so bad I tried to cancel. Hotel rooms, cleanliness were good. The supermarket next door was open then and was handy when 1st arrived for sugar, milk, etc. There is a supermarket under the San Eugenio shopping centre which is a bit like Morrisons, fresh fish, etc, good prices as well, vodka, coke, bread, toiletries, everything. Met a group of Scottish ladies, then some English people, everyone sat together had a great time "Tenerife Troops". Children entertainers Katherine and Junior saw to the kids on stage early on the night, "Baby Shark" was big at the time. Katherine even got the big kids up doing it, us. Different entertainers come in from outside, 1 of the favourites with the kids was the parrots, hawks, etc. You can have your picture taken with what looked like an Eagle on your arm for a price and pick it up at reception the following day. Karaoke available on stage for those brave enough to get up. Because everybody joined in, it was the best holiday out of the 3. Still in touch with a lot of the people I met on Facebook since got back. Proves it's not where you go but who you are with or meet that matters. Make Memories. Laguna Park 2 was the best holiday I had. Nothing wrong with the hotel.

Much better than my room when I stayed, it was absolutely filthy, hairs and hair pins on the bathroom floor, dust and grime everywhere but worse, there was a condom packet next to the bed. I didn't mind about the tatty furniture but the filth made me feel ill.

I have a few mates who go here every year for the 'Ted(dy Boy) Do', and they love the place. Certainly cheap. I wonder how much the Presidential Suite is! 😁

Id heard quite a lot of people/parents at reception asking about directions to the attractions and the tram situation. The tram stop is directly across the road from the hotel, its called Norbreck. Cross over the road, go left (up) and that tram will take up right up to the Pleasure beach, The tower/sea life/sandcastle/shopping mall and all the main goodies, go Right down) and you can go into Clevleys and Fleetwood which is much quieter with loads of eating places, a great pebbly beach and pet friendly too. I payed about £17 (single person fare) for a weeks tram ticket which allows you to hop on and off whenever you want, its great it also lets you use it on the busses, i didnt need the weekly one but they only do a daily ticket, a three day ticket (that doesnt cover your fourth day) or a week so be aware of that, I ended up giving my ticket with the remaining days on it to a family coming in on the train before I left. The trams are every 10-12 minutes and are never over crowded and they are really clean.

In the evenings- Bingo and quiz is generally nightly then loud/bad taste pop music and a bit of floor dancing with a dj making poor family jokes in between songs, security seem to be in abundance around the door areas, they are not intimidating at all but its a shame they are needed at all, from my observations of these three nights it seems the hotels custom was heavy on drinking parents and kids allowed to just run around, it didnt bother me at all, just what Id noticed, they were enjoying themselves but I will point out that a huge sway of the parents were drunk/loud acting like teens themselves, a few fall outs but nothing too much (not unruly) made me realize why the security had to be in place. I decided one night to check out the cinema and went to watch a "family film", it seats 21, I was the only one there, No kids??? what made me giggle a bit was the fact that when the film finished I wondered where the kids were, the film was really good, on closer inspection I noticed they were in the bar areas with their parents playing with the little toys they'd won on the "amusement" arcade. 😅 The trams.......

Castles restaurant is huge with hand sanitizers dotted about everywhere, I was sat by the door for a good hour and I noticed that not a single person sanitized their hands at all (barf alert) Breakfast is £10, its what you would expect, fruits/cereals/tea/coffee toast, full English basic buffet, good quality worth the money. The evening meals on the other hand are worth avoiding at a cost of £13.50 per person, this is not worth the money. My experience was a buffet style option I chose chicken in sweet mystery sauce/carrots/cauliflower roast potatoes that was it. There were a couple more options of cheesy pasta or rice and braised beef. The deserts were basic sponge based cheese cake and meringue style slices of cake with really basic ice cream. You could easily compare the food to a bad school dinner experience and not worth £13.50 at all and again, not a single adult or child sanitized their hands. The following nights I opted out and got take away which you are allowed to do. There is a chippy/Chinese/ kebab shop and a Morrisons express just around the corner or you can order in and have it delivered, reception have take away menus and will let you borrow plates/cutlery etc from the restaurant. The evening experience is another thing......

Hi, new to your channel. I just got back today from the Norbreck, I too had read the awful reviews so had to check it out. (I didnt film it, just observed it for myself) I stayed for three nights and was on the 3rd floor also at £32 per night, a much bigger room than yours which was surprising. I had a really good look round before I went to my room, like you say, there are pockets of dirty marks/scuffed paint work/mould/damp in certain areas but I think they have concentrated on the main areas that matter most but I do think the lifts SHOULD be disinfected at least a few times a day as they are in heavy use and are dirty/hold most germs. The exhibition area is well equipped and in good nick, the Ballroom is glorious/majestic with its huge white pillars and countless chandeliers, superb for events. The swimming pool area is very clean and well kept at an extra charge of £2 entry. The main corridors are clean but look dated like the scene out of the Shining but thats ok. They have cut back on housekeeping so the army of cleaners only go in once the guests have left to get the rooms ready again, I had no issues with the cleanliness of the beds/shower, the carpet wasnt great but I never bare foot it in a hotel anyway. Well worth the £32. Id like to talk more about the food.......

But as you say I think some people expect a lot more of a 2 star hotel. You've put my mind at ease. Like yourselves our room is used as a base. So looking forward to it now. Thank you 😊

What about parking?

Cheap & cheerful. Up till my March visit this year I'd stayed there SC* about 8 times - not sure if I like it.🤣 In June I made the mistake of going to Las Piramides in Las Am HB. Still haven't shed the excess weight! Surprised about your comment about no safe. Did you look in the bottom of the wardrobe? In March I'd forgotten that's where it was for the first hour, since I hadn't been there/Tenerife since March 2020. Re it's location up the hill, it's on the 424 bus route between Los Cris, & El Duque. As you say, there's good nightlife not far away. * I got caught up in the first lockdown at the end of my hols in 2020. For the last 2 days I went AI - don't remember the quality of the food, but I don't recall any problems; so it must have been fine. Re the unheated pool, I like swimming, & I've been in it in December/Jan - it doesn't feel cold when you're totally numb😄 I'm looking at going back there next month, though the prices seem to be up significantly everywhere. Just below where you pointed out the"Teepee" tent used to be a pitch and putt course, many, many years ago. There was also a small cafe, run by two, charming, elderly Ladies... I'm very old !!!
