Thanks for the clip about Webb Orphanage very interesting, I went o Bedford Street Boys School and they had two classrooms there as an overspill late 50s I attended twice weekly .

If I’d just come off the boat and they sent me to Crewe , I’d be thinking what fook am I doing here ! 🤪😆

The shops in the victoria centre pay their rent to asda, asda are the landlords not the council

There is a boxing club being built and a youth centre at the bottom of Brierly st where the garages used to be

Dammit, I just wish they'd knock the Limelight down. One of the best clubs I ever went to, countless great nights out there, but it's been now abandoned and rotting for longer than it was actually open. So sad to see it in such a state. Put the old place out of its misery. 😔

With the time it's taking them to lay a pavement from Memorial Square to Crewe St,you'd think they were cutting a tunnel through a mountain.

I`m probably giving CEC way to much credit for sensible thinking with this suggestion, but maybe the fallen tree hasn`t been cut up and removed due to the noise there would be next to the nesting birds ??

Great video's Jan on the regeneration of Crewe 👍..See you do bits on the new youth club being built opposite farm foods ...Just a suggestion maybe go and have a look on Mirron street (razza)at the new state of the art boxing club being built there, this and the youth club in crewe are going be great hubs for the community and youth of crewe 👍

Thanks for making all these videos. I grew up in Crewe and now reside in Los Angeles. Whenever I feel homesick, I often pop on one of your videos on and it gives me a great insight into what's going on in Crewe. So sorry to hear your children forgot your birthday.

A disgrace that the historic cobbles in Goddard St have been dug up again.😡

The flooding of the road is because the works department of the council will not do anything unless they first are given a ticket from the council, and then they will gully suck it. A blocked drain will remain unless the madness of tickets are not issued.

The lights on the trees in victoria street are on there all year long, they have been for a few years

This shows Crewe as it was when I moved here in 2019. Most of it has now been demolished, including the clock tower which was the only notable landmark in Crewe. A new bus station has ben built and an enormous maulti-storey car park but the rest is wasteland.

I think, it might be converted into an electronic music studio / art centre. Apart from the roof, good looking building, good brickwork. Only rumours I've heard, nothing official. 1000 subscribers mark isn't far away, any special video planned for the occasion?

Erm don't now if you heard it but when you were talking about the mass grave at around 2.30 ish upto 2.50 you can hear a voice say something but I can't make out what it's saying but it's close to the mic when they speak

What a negative, cynical and complaining narrative - anyone would think those corrupt Tory criminals STILL represented Crewe & Nantwich. They’ve gone, many to prison, but the Tories certainly do NOT hold the reins in politics in the area. Crewe used to be a vibrant place, and the main feature being the open air market on Saturdays. Dunwoody did a lot to destroy Crewe, to make it a shell of what it formerly was.

Just a heads up Jan. the old oak street car park area both sides is for the new youth zone being built there. It was announced ages ago. So they’d need to dig all that tarmac to put the new buildings.

The reason why so many Eastern European shops were open its cause the Eastern Europeans to celebrate. Boxing Day
