@ivanverbeke Thank you kindly for your answer. I asked because in my Poland the European Union is placing increasing requirements on home heating. And if it continues like this, heating with a regular wood stove may become illegal. Tell me how it is in your country?

@@zulugula6030 It is currently still permitted to burn wood in a wood-burning stove in Flanders (Belgium). New wood stoves must meet certain standards. There are no plans yet for a complete ban. The wood comes from trees that I have planted in my garden and whose branches I cut and dry every year.

@@ivanverbeke Thank you for your answer. I understand. So for now it's similar to ours. What kind of tree did you plant? How many would you need to plant to heat your house in the winter? Right now I use 20-25 m3 of pine and spruce per year to keep the temperature at 22-25 degrees Celsius. The total cost of heating is about 1000 euros per year. In my case it's a monthly salary.

@@zulugula6030 The trees whose branches I saw off every 2 to 3 years are pollard willows. The wood from my trees is not enough. So I buy an additional 6m³ every year. I have 1 wood fire in the living room that burns in the afternoon until midnight. There is electric heating in the kitchen. There is no heating upstairs. Greetings
