Just a thought, Corbyn probably kept that quiet about travelling first class and enjoying a three course meal. I'd have expected him in standard class eating a sandwich.

We should have this on Avanti services to Glasgow, instead of the airline style meals in first class and the trolley service for second class. British Rail had its faults, but every long distance train had a dining car at peak times or a buffet car that could be like a pub on rails.

Not the best video in the world. Obviously not used to First Class. That main course looked as though it had been thrown on the plate from a roof top. It would have gone strait back to the kitchen from me.

I have had the lunch service in the Pullman out of Paddington on GWR many times, and every time is lovely 🙂. Every time I go for the steak, it’s lush 👍

The trick is to sit port out, starboard home on that line so you get the stunning view of the sea between Exeter and Newton Abbot

Tip: when flying into Catania, book a seat on the left/port side of the plane; the flight path takes you on almost a complete circuit around Etna and the views are amazing. Unfortunately, sat on the other side (as in this film), you see absolutely nothing!
