Fast Fords, Trains, and Model Ships.
A trio of AZL SD40-2's with the new ZModel decoder test running
Pulling a short coal train thru the yard and around the layout at 1/3 throttle. All engines are equipped ZModel decoder. Forgive the mess and uneven track. I replaced some turnouts due to a short that melted the truck on one of my other engines. I will show my new short circuit protection in a later video. Right now I need to level the area where I had to dig out the turnouts and reinstall.

Pool Install Day 3

Imagine Pools install by The Comfort Center in St. Joe. I'm very impressed by these guys. The concrete is not coming until tomorrow, so they hand mixed and poured the step old school style and then set the forms for the pad. Mona and I couldn't wait so we set up some temporary pavers and tested the waters. Erin was back (this guy is always working) to make sure all was ready for the big pour.

Mixing AZL and MTL Intermodal Equipment
Not easy in any scale.....BUT Z!?! WOW!
This was a response to a discussion on the AZL forum about not being able to use the AZL and MTL cars together. To me, the track is the key. I had a lot of trouble getting mine as level as possible. Try to avoid having a joint right where you begin an incline. Instead of a sharp elevation change, gradually transition to the angle of the grade. This will help keep those couplers where they need to be. If you can push your train around with no issues, you can easily pull it derailment free. My layout is in a drawer, so it's a pain to rerail. Best to spend extra time shimming and adjusting your trackwork for smooth operation.
Lovely

Pity Dragon never made this kit with the square superstructure modification so we could model 1944 and later versions of the Gleaves-class destroyers or the DMS conversions....
Put Godzilla on it and call it done!
Very intresting trackplan. It must have been very difficult to find out. The hill with the tunnel is wonderful.
AWESOME!!!
👍
damn i got a boner
AWESOME!!!!!
AWESOME!!!!! Thank you for sharing and keep up the good work.
AWESOME!!!!! Thank you for sharing and keep up the good work.
Do you happen to know of any programs that allow somebody to make a layout of a Z-scale railway on PC?
I used Anyrail to do mine. It includes Z scale track libraries.
that is way cool.
where can i buy 1 i served on this class ship??
The layout is made up of Pro-Z modules A, B, C, & D and the train is Pro_z as well, Pro-Z is from air gun company Tokyo Mauri, they made a big splash when they came out at first but much of what was promised has not appeared in stores.
Very nice. I assume it is similar to the T Trak concept. Assume 24" wide. Appears to be "standard modules" that can be reversed for variations. Are they commercially available?
Is this Z scale? It looks terrific. Thanks for posting.
Hello friend! What you used to make water, this kit is tamiya or tumpter? The planes are the same 1/350 scale? Thank you!
hah thats pretty awesome
The Torino shattered my earphones damn!
Just wait the cobra will be back with a catless x-pipe and borla stingers. Then we shall see!!!!
Torino with the 390 for sure
Sow this model in Orlando last year. Great job! I am planning to do something like that on my next ship model and was wondering if you can give me some tips on the electrical circuit scheme and motor type? Can you share some of your secrets? Thanks!
"Even so, in a straight line the Torino will outrun the Cobra." MY ASS...
It sounds meaner to those who understand what lies below the sheetmetal. Yeah, the Cobra is one mean ride, but there is 36 years between the technology. Even so, in a straight line the Torino will outrun the Cobra.
The cobra sounds meaner
Reworked the heads, new cam, intake, carb, and headers. Ignition is next.
Love that sound. love that motor. What do u have done to the motor for mods?
Yeah it runs pretty good.
Must run amazing cause I think it sounds fabulous!!!!!!!!!
i gotta say turino its got that nice big lopey cam that makes it sound mean and aggresive ...... the cobra sounds great!!! tooo kind of a cleaner sound, either way you got 2 really nice cars
those are pretty bad ass i got a 71 gran torino with glass packs ill put up a vid when it gets fixed
No, tell me about it.
HI THARE did you ever go to the LIHMCS show???
oh yeah, Torino takes the cake in my opinion, nothing against the Cobra though.
they are almost all moving on the Transcon. Great place to watch trains.
Trains pass through Hardin about every 15 minutes!
The detail that I liked the most was the seven jettison lockers on the starboard side. That is the right place and right number...I see them often. The only things missing are the two cad lockers on on the catwalk across from jettison lockers four and five. I would not have the patience to do what you did.
That is typical of this line. I think I was standing too dang close to that one.
Haulin ASS!
lol rock on man =)
yes, it is 1/350 and is typical of Kelly's work. Detailed to the extreme!!!!
That explains why the hoppers are all covered. It was chilly that day so the smell was not strong. I just wish I had been ready for the shot as it came over the bridge. Too hard to hold the camera steady when shooting long range.
