FFX my first RPG game and the one that holds the dearest place in my heart. The story, gameplay, and sound track are masterful.

I just replayed this recently. And when I got here, I was flooded with intense emotion. Not just because it was about to end, but because it made me realize how influential this game was upon my life. It helps that the music evokes emotion too. But I believe we will have some VERY strong emotions tied to this art form, as it is so interactive, and has sights and sounds that will really bring a person back to their youth. And the people that played early games are all grown up now.

Very ironic contrast with the music considering this is a place where literally thunders hit your head out of nowhere.

Climbing down a series of monsters, before reaching Omega was my favorite part of this side quest.

Great game, but I hate the ending.

You can be up like 3-0 on Luca thanks to the Jecht Shot, and still get epic chills when Wakka hauls ass into the stadium for the finale. Especially since it's super easy for a full HP Wakka to score again. Sort of becomes a Rudy moment at that point.

I always play this song when I feel sad - it always allows me to release a lot of my built up tears and emotions. I've been through so much pain in my life as an adult of 43 years of age, having to suffer through countless days of being sick with Crohn's Disease in the hospital, losing so many friends online that I once trusted, breakups IRL and deaths... the never-ending spiral of death is unavoidable in this game and IRL.

I love how this area is always alluded to in an intimidating manner, making the area seem really foreboding. But when you get here it's just a nice little jaunty piano tune that plays while dodging lightning bolts. Gives the area an extra level of character
