Everyone who works hard is gifted... There are people out there who work as hard if not harder, people who are probably more talented but never really got to explore that! Every successful person ever is lucky, everyone is gifted, nothing wrong in that

Theres some bitter people in these commemts 😂 everything he said is true! How many people here cared as much about succeeding in science like this guy did? Gave up their popularity and coolness to study when they were young? Im guessing very few of us if we are being honest. I think its disrespectful to call his hard work a "gift" I dont care about the religious side of "gift" thats irrelevant to me

Dr Tyson: I'm not bitter at all... Exams can be subjective. This reminds me of a guy I met a long time ago in 4th year of my engineering degree. He had failed his final year and was repeating and in same class with us. For some reason, we just got on and occasionally let him squat in college room when I was away. Fortunately, we graduated together, but because he had repeated his final year, the best he could get was a 3rd class degree, which meant that he also struggled to get a job. A year after graduation he still didn't have a job and one day I'm driving to an Engineering Institute Christmas dinner and I see crossing the road. I excitedly honked at and he came rushing and jumped into my car just before the light turned green. We drove together and excitedly caught up, and unfortunately, he still wasn't employed. I told him where I was going, and he asked if he could tag along. It wasn't an invite only event, so we went together. At the event, he mingled so confidently with a lot of people and got contacts. The following Monday he came to my office and told me that he had registered a consulting company in both our names. He said all I want is transport money to chase the contacts he had met at the event. He said, I have time and I'll do the donkey work. He moved into my rented 1 bed room flat and within 6 months started working on 3 small projects. I must admit that I always wanted to double check his work because of the u university's history, but I soon found out he actually more technically capable than I was. Within 2 years, we were running a relatively successful Engineering Consultancy firm and employed students looking for field experience, which reduced our salary bill. He never asked me to quit my job and every without fail, we would meet for years where he'd give the run down of all the key projects and what my involvement was going to be. Many years later, I left the country, but Simon is still running the very company, and he informs me that he still hasn't changed the company directorship. Every time I go back home, his family hosts us and we have a beautiful holiday. God bless you, Simon. Your success is your fuck you that university where you're now a visiting lecturer!!

Hard work is much but not everything Sound bad but some people are simply smarter and are born with a mind that can work with different stuff better than other people. What you do with this talent dictates your success but the gifted part of this facility is for the children with high potential to use it.

There are simple fixes to staying youthful however one has to do certain things now bad habits and laziness causes it to be difficult, even for me, however by over coming this you'll be rewarded for youthfulness for more years than your peers!! Not true for absolutely everyone however it is true for 99.99%. Eat right, sleep enough and practise meditation and move (exercise) walk, run, dance, play a sport doesn't matter what matters most is being active. If it's hard start off small, everyone can do something, start off small and increase it as you get fitter, you have to become an athlete. Just stay active! Longest lived humans are active ones! But you also need good rest, sleep and importantly eat highly dence foods that nourishes the body and you will absolutely feel far better!!
