Types of twine for hand knotted rosaries
Thank you so much! I am a Turkish teenage girl, and I am a newly Christian, I couldn't find any rosaries at here, but now I can make one, thank you so much God bless you ❤️✝️
god bless you, I‘m also a Christian teenager and I’m from germany 💗✝️
Love this❤
This is dummy proof.
Thank you❤
You're welcome 😊
How many feet do you need for #21 twine?
Maybe 15 or so
I made one today - thank you
It is out of frame
Not sure I understand what you meant. Sorry.
😃 *Promo SM*
What thread (brand and size of thickness) do you use?
I'm so sorry for the delayed reply. I made this with a #36 Nylon Twine. You can find them at rosarymakingparts.com or twineanddesign.com. I think Amazon might carry some colors too.
Beautiful!
Thank you!
Thank you for explaining the story u were very clear I'm not catholic but I'm very intrigued about the story of the virgin of Guadalupe 🙏🏼❤️
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! It truly is fascinating. Such a gift of love. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas!

Thank you for the excellent tutorial!
Looks like a centimeter.😅
what kind of cord you use?
For this particular one, I use a #36 nylon twine. You can find it at rosarymakingparts.com.
How would you put a center piece on
You would use the same knot you use to add a crucifix. Watch the video on How to Add a Crucifix (step 5). I think that should help. That same knot can be used with any cord size. Just make sure to cut and burn the end. If you don't burn it, it will unravel.
Is there a video to make one?
There is a video on how to make a convertible rosary.
I was able to use #9 twine!
Yes. #9 works also, it can just be a little more difficult sometimes to feed through because it is thicker, but it does work also.
Thank you help me get started making my own Rosary!
Wow this is awesome! Do you sell these? I’m trying to find well made prayer tassels. Thank you and God bless🙏🏽
Thank you! Are you looking for the prayer cord? Or just the tassel?
I would love to make this but i dont know where to buy the cross and the beads
You can find 10mm wood beads and wood crosses on Etsy. I use the #9 nylon twine from rosarymakingparts.com. You might also find those beads on Amazon. I could not find the cord or crosses on Amazon though. You can still use this technique with other types of beads, crosses and cords you can get from your local hobby store. Hope that’s helps!
Thank you so much! I was accidentally damaging my rosary and trying to make another one but I don't know how and what video would help me to make it perfectly, especially the knot. I felt amazed at how you taught us to make such a beautiful knot rosary. I appreciate it. May God bless you and your family. ❤️🙌🙏☝️
I'm so very happy that you enjoyed it! Rosary making has brought me so much joy and so many blessings for years now. I love sharing the joy with others. Blessings to you and your family as well!
Very nice explanation!! This will be wonderful! Thank you 🙏🏼
Thank you!
Hello. I'm a french man catholic. I would like learn English with catholic people. Some one for helps me?
I'm so sorry I do not know of any resources for you, but I wish you the best!
@@knotjustaprayer9875 merci beaucoup. Thank you so much. Maybe God will help me. God bless you 🙏
I have just one question.. that is.. why is there no rosary centre??? It is essential dear people.
I would love for there to be a rosary centerpiece, but as the description says, this is the "most simple beaded rosary". It is meant for beginning crafters. To add a metal center piece, you also have to know how to make the rosary knots. It's just a different style. If you go to rosarymakingparts.com, you will find supplies and directions on how to make more complex rosaries, including those with center pieces (as you mentioned). Hope that helps!
Happy New year very impressive where can I find the items for making them thanks and God Bless
Happy New Year! I would typically buy the beads online at Fire Mountain Gems, Amazon, or Etsy. I bought the crosses on Etsy. You can also check eBay. The cord is purchased from rosarymakingparts.com. That #9 cord comes in white and brown. It is very thin, but but durable. You an also make this same style using any beads and crosses from your local hobby store. Hope that helps!
This is such a smart way of making rosaries!!
Cannot even make it past step one because there’s no explanation how you made that noose. Basically looks like magic at this point.
It’s a slip knot.
Sorry for the very late reply. You can do it without that step. Just make sure the beads don't fall off the end. The other thing you can do is to put a piece of tape at the end to create a stopper, and then just cut that off at the very end at the last steps. Hope that helps!
Here how to make Anglican prayer beads
I use a thread zapper
Yes! That works great on this thin cord also. Since I work also with #18 and #36 cord, I typically use fire, but I have used one of those on the thin cord before as well. Thank you for mentioning that!
How do you find the number 36 cord. Anyone know
I am so sorry for the late reply! The most affordable one can be found at rosarymakingparts.com. You may also buy some beautiful colors at twinebydesign.com for a little more money. Those are the two main sources I would buy from. Hope that helps!
Very good I am trying to lean and this is so helpful
What type of cord do you use? Do you use a different size cord for guys
The cord is a #36 nylon twine. I do not use a separate cord for guys. This one is pretty thick, and great for men. I purchase it at www.rosarymakingparts.com. They have the best pricing. If you go to twinebydesign.com, they are a little more expensive, but have a larger selection of colors. I know shipping is a killer for both, but I could not find it anywhere locally. Hope that helps!
if I am not comfertable with buring, can I use superglue or hot glue instead?
Truthfully, I'm not sure if it would work. From working with hot glue, I don't think that would be a good option because it might just peel off. Super glue or maybe even a bead glue "might" work, but I'm not completely sure. If you want to try super glue, I would cut it a little shorter, then put the glue on it. It seems really messy though. I think they also sell burning tools that might work. Like this one: www.amazon.com/Beadsmith-Operated-Finishing-stringing-Projects/dp/B001HBXOUY/ref=sr_1_4?crid=1WGDAI2U45B5K&keywords=bead+burning+tool&qid=1657688012&sprefix=bead+burning+tool%2Caps%2C128&sr=8-4. Hope that helps.
I'm happy with the Rosary bracelet that I have. I love them so much.
What type of cord do you use
Thanks that was so easy to follow, I love my rosary
Hell Mary beads🦻🤔😧😧😧😳😲🥺😵😵

Thank you! your instructions are clear and easy to follow.
you literally SAVED me so much trouble!! I have used every video tutorial out there, and This one Finally Clicked with me! God Bless!!!!!
Thank you!! This tutorial is wonderful, easy to understand. where can I find/purchase the crucifix?
So glad you like it! I buy my crucifixes from streetevangelization.com. If you want a larger selection of style and sizes, you can also try catholicparts.com.
That is very cool, I have learnt how to make wooden beads from New Zealand hardwoods, I was wondering if your process would work for a necklace, the same thing but a little longer I guess?
So happy you like it! What you may want to do is order a very small wood bead that can be used as "spacers" and figure out how many to put between each of the beads to make it longer. For example, you have use one spacer bead between each bead in the "week", but then add 2,3, or 4 spacer beads between each week and the cruciform to create more length. I've done that with rosaries before too.
thank you for this video tutorial
