Does Brembo have a specific brake kit for the Gen 2 Viper? I need this.
Mine is a gen 1 but I do believe they have a gen 2 kit also. They have different sizes depending on your wheels. I will say their measurements in their diagram for the gen 1 were not accurate so be careful
Man, don't know if you ever did anything more with that. But that thing is awesome. Someday want to build a CJ2A rock crawler.
Thank you. I ended up shutting my shop down and the project got put out to pasture. I do still have my chassis I built. Hopefully I will get back to it or get it to someone to finish it and use it.
No wires n soft roar... she's too sexy!
I Love The Unique Wheels of The First Generation Viper
Thank you! I had the original design machined in 19inch to fit the gen 5 acr viper tire sizes and the monster brembo brake package.
@@LambFab You Made The Factory Wheels Bigger
They were machined from scratch billet aluminum to look close to original but in larger diameter, wider, with different offset and a wider flat lip.
@@LambFab Very Cool
Wheels are great 😍 viper of course too.
Thank you!
Never seen one of these before, I would love to take one of these on. Super cool
They are very weird and cool! Equally hard to find! I looked for 3 or 4 years to find this one!
How far did it go 40k
24,000 on the odo and im pretty sure that original miles! It was parked for most of its life. I tried soaking it for like 7 years and won't let go so I'm thinking it was heat seized. I will tear it down and attempt to get it to run in another video! But don't worry....it's not going back into the van.
That is awsome 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Now thats a cool jeep! Good luck 👍🏿
Thank You! I'm going to do a video series on the build. I appreciate the comments. Please subscribe if you would like to follow along with how it turns out.
Appears O.E. engine is the Icabod Crane variation !
I hope whoever made this is proud. They saw that all it needed was the same wheels modernized and nothing else messed with. Timeless classic improved perfectly I'm shockingly impressed this is up there with every SEMA build ever.
Thank you for the kind words! This build has been on my mind since I was a kid and I an gradually making it a reality. The gen 1 is a beautiful design, it just needs the proportions tweaked a bit to bring it together.
@@LambFab you basically perfected it sir. congratulations.
Thank you for the kind words! Much more to come for engine and interior. Same theme, attempt to perfect what dodge did right.
Spicy NB Miata ;) Nah this thing's sick as hell, jealous we didn't get these in Australia
Wow the bigger wheels really look good. Who made those?
Thank you! I measured them out and had colorado custom make them for me.
Siick
The worst yet the Best Viper ever made.
Worst in like "most unrefinde brute".
Yep it's a crude beast! Definition of viper! So fun
OEM wheel in a bigger size looks dope!
Thank you!
Ah the old Dodge Widowmaker!
i miss my 1993
Wow! Amazing 🤩
Nice looking viper!!!
your best bet is to put the shims back in place. they were put there for a reason, such as preventing bump steer.
I did keep them in their original locations.
Nice video.
Was just curious how much that Ron Davis radiator cost?
Was quite a few years ago. Sorry but I don't remember. I'm sure their prices have doubled by now with inflation etc. just give them a call they are very helpful and can get you a ballpark of current prices.
My early 1993 (antenna) car also has a steel power steering pulley. I was confused as well. I have no idea if it came from the factory.
So I talked with a guy that said that the gen 1 pulley was not a problem but the power steering cap was. The threads are plastic And not very good. He used to make and sell a bungee deal that went around the base of the reservoir threads and then had two loops around the vent on the top to keep the cap in place. He also recommended a hose on the vent to get the potential fluid away from the exhaust manifolds! Thank you for the comment. Looking forward to more on the viper build coming up!
The amount of craftsman ship and attention to detail that went into this is absolutely amazing I have a 84 k10 to turn it into something like this would be awesome
Or marker lights which ever u prefer
So youre the fucker I can blame for these flashbang lights
can i have it
Even those brakes are sexy
Thanks man! Lots of work and long way to go!
I admit it, I'm a sucker for the original 3 spoke wheels. It's the old school traditional look on a gen1
Could you please tell me who did your gauges and how can they be located
Will this brembo kit give you abs? Did stock not have abs?
No it will not.
What did you do to your knee? I just tore my mcl and I’m thinking of getting these.
Looks like a dream. With all of the resources that Jeep division has at there fingertips. Taking what people have done to there old trucks. They surely could have come up with something better than what they brought out. I’m 6’ foot. And I don’t really feel comfortable in the new one’s to tight inside and not much headroom. What they could have had if they would have add a few inches here and there to make the new one look like this. But then you have the government involved with all the belts and bags. Wouldn’t it be nice to sign a waiver that you don’t want all of that.
Thank you for the comment. I agree that new cars just don't have what the old ones did. No class, no style and way too much big brother.
Rip
Oh wow my old sportage i sold.
@@CastusTroy yep I am Tanner. I'm not sure what I would sell it for. Think about an offer. So much time invested and materials. I need to get a battery for it as the optima finally died from sitting.
Nice lincoln
I have looked into them. I believe they are in Michigan? Mine runs really nice but I probably am going to do a 6.0 conversation with a overdrive transmission
Are you still in business and what number do I call?
Let’s get it 💪
Nice!
Thanks!
Nice!
I'll be following along with my 69 Continental sedan.
Awesome! Thanks for dropping a comment! Please subscribe so you don't miss the next Lincoln video!
Great job. I just wanted to ask is your rack and pinion leaking or is that leak coming from above?
Keep up these videos!
... boosted Motorsports has a bunch of do-it-yourself generation 1 2 Viper stuff he has a 2000 ACR..
Your viper looks incredible!
Thank you! It's getting there. Much more work to come! These cars are really fun to work on!
Those shims are to adjust the bump steer curve, they'll be factory. Crazy about everything else omg!
You’re awesome this is incredible! Thank you for the great video.
keep up the good work you have been very helpful
Glad to hear the videos have helped you! Lots more Viper content coming!
