Halo: Combat Evolved VR, the way we all have wanted to play it for the past two decades!
With Microsoft and Meta's official partnership, it would be a damn shame if they didn't make an official high-effort VR port of the real OG.
I'm sure the Meta Quest 3 could easily run Halo: CE, Halo 2, and Halo 3 natively. They just need to put in as much effort as they did with RE4 VR (without the woefully inappropriate censorship).

@@Lonk_Vr It's definitely better than the OG experience, but it could be so much better. One of the developers informed me that they are working on some improvements, but who knows to what extent. He mentioned some bugs and maybe referenced some unintentional design flaws. I just hope they reconsider first-person and full crossplay support.

The flat Game is always third Person to. You Need it for the overwiew anyways. The Levels are amazing later in the Game. Very nice…

@@sky_-_- It definitely needs a proper first-person option. The forced third-person view was very unnecessary. That being said, the game is still a blast! I've been playing it for about an hour and it's awesome! I'll upload a video soon, hopefully better showcasing actual gameplay. The short little clips in the trailer don't quite do it justice.
i personally do not care if the game is third person or first person if its a vr game and i haven't played the original non vr game in a long time and i get memories from it because its a peak game IM BUYING IT

I personally hate third person vr games. If this was first person it would be the best vr game of the year, I love Human Fall Flat but this is such a letdown.

They didnt want to add 1st person cus they would have to make the head and arms more stable, ruining the purpose of the game, it would just be a walking and box carrying sim then

@@viIath Yeah, I didn't say it had a first-person option. I said I "wish" it had a first-person option 😅 That being said, if you're playing it on Steam, that means you can probably very easily modify it to play in first-person. Hell, in the base non-VR version of the game, you can use console commands to play in first-person. However, I would not be surprised if they disabled console commands in the VR port. But, regardless of console commands, it shouldn't be too hard for a modder to implement proper first-person.

Well, VR is virtual reality, it's not really mandatory to make first person games
Can you played multiplayer and with other random people?
In the base game, you can indeed join random people, so there's no reason to think it wouldn't work the same way in this VR port. That being said, this is not something that has been confirmed, so I can't say for sure. They have made some poorly advised decisions in this VR port, so there's no telling what to expect.
I was hoping we would play in first person, but it ended up being boring!
@@galolonca_5264 You and me both, pal. But I wouldn't worry too much about it, I think it will still be fun. If you're on PC, I'm sure it will be very easy to change it to first person, especially if we're still allowed to use console commands.

will the game get crossplay?
I assume there will be crossplay between PCVR, PSVR, and Standalone VR, but that has yet to be officially confirmed. Unfortunately, the developers have confirmed there will be NO crossplay between VR and non-VR on release, which is a real bummer. I can only hope they will change that in the future.
