Hello, and thank you for stopping by and viewing my channel. I'll admit that when I first created a RUclips channel, I just wanted to use it to watch videos. I still do that. However, I've decided to take my railfanning hobby to the next level. Taking still photographs is enjoyable, but I felt like something was missing.
In addition to still photographs, I've gotten into taking videos. When I was living in Minnesota, depending on where you were at, chasing was an option. I was more into getting as many shots as I could before I couldn't anymore. I felt like taking a video would slow a railfan down by a lot. It's true, it does.
Moving to Florida back in January, I realized that taking a video was more of a realistic option. Trains on the Florida East Coast Railway move fast. It's hard to chase them. Your chances are better if they have to meet someone, go through a slow order, or perform work/switching. Even with meets, they're usually timed perfectly.
Sit back & enjoy the FEC Rwy.

FEC 711 - Harwood
To the railroad, this is just another Tuesday. With it being Christmas Eve, it didn't stop the Florida East Coast Railway from running their trains. A little fog is in the air as train #204 heads north by Harwood.
Merry Christmas!

Christmas Rush For the past month, the Florida East Coast Railway has been running train 105 on Sundays, in addition to its normal Monday-Friday schedule. I would assume it's for the Christmas holiday and that the 105 will go back to its regular schedule after Christmas. Power: 808-307-813-716 Taken on 12/15/2024

Now for something completely different, FEC's GP38-2 #510 notching up while in idle as it awaits its next switching move. This was quite the sound and was nice soup for the soul. Power: 510 Taken on 12/10/2024
