Yo I’ve been a hard stuck silver/gold for a bit I only have around 4k kills I know my aim is an issue with why I can’t rank up but if you have any tips outside of playing more like how to solo queue with worse teammates as I can’t carry as much cuz I’m not skilled enough to do so if you can help me out with a few tips that would help

Thanks for the great guide! First time I watched it was mostly out of curiosity since I hadn't played any Ivy, however using it I was just able to not only win my first 2 games on Ivy, but also get the christmas skin (which is obviously far more important).

Is Ivy played offlane at all? are you still looking to shove as quickly as possible as there is less for you to do with prio?

Can you still start low when you ult? I tried crouch ulting in sandbox mode and i always fly high, i cant stay low like you do in the video.

This is gold. I also enjoy Knockdown, even if there is no Talon or vindicta in the enemy team. Lets you one shot combo someone midgame. First you ult, then knockdown, then ult Bomb + kudzu + mayb alchemical fire + chain stunned from knockdown into stoneform. Sound more complicated than it is

So I know people said soaking is dead but I think from what i understand reading the patch notes. It seems like all the change did was make it so when you kill 4 creeps in a wave and then go to another lane, you are low priority and the game does not create extra souls for you. BUT, you can still split the souls that would've gone to your solo laner. So if you're a dick or if your solo laner is okay with getting behind in lane you can still get extra souls. Correct me if I'm wrong on that. I wasn't paying much attention to how well the bebop was doing in your game but if he didn't die and fuck up or anything that's why he might have been 1.5k behind your shiv at 5 mins (cuz Mikael was splitting his souls)

Hey curious to know if you use the default keybinds for sliding, sometimes i struggle to slide at angles like sideways over and over when goies at angles on stairs for example or going up and down stairs slidesing and shooting while moving st the aame time

This is a very insightful guide. Great work! I really love playing Ivy, and hearing you, a top player, showcase a bit how she can truly be played flexibly makes me happy (in a "validated" sort of way, because I just want to play a variety of roles with her lol). Learning about seemingly small things like thinking about the height of dropping bombs and when to engage in team fights (i.e. should be coming in "late") really feels huge. The explanations were very thorough. I like the live commentary sample of gameplay. It's understandably hard(er) to try to explain your thought process during a live match, so there were noticeably mechanical errors made, but as long as the ideas were well-explained (which they were), I think it gets the message across, so it didn't need to be flawless. I wouldn't mind seeing commentary voice-over recorded games if you think it could help highlight key actions in games more comfortably. But it would be great to see more live commentary with other characters. Thank you for the detailed guide. Looking forward to seeing more things like these with different heroes. If you do make more, I am certain you will make them even more polished. Exciting!
