You have a base model WRX? Those came with halogen bulbs as signals. Replace the signal relay with a hyper flash one. I believe there's a link in the description

@ unfortunately I have aftermarket headlights not sure if it would work.

@@WRXTrikz if you had the headlights before and the hyper flash started when you put the fogs on. Then it should be as simple as swapping out a hyper flash relay. The LED bulbs draw less current, so the car thinks a bulb is blown since less power is being pulled to flash. The relay is located under the steering column

Nice! So far they've been doing well. The only issue I had were the fuel fittings, had to replace a few of those. I personally never dealt with Touge, I buy most of my parts from Subie Supply Co. But based on the things I've heard I'm not shocked there shutting down. Reputation and word of mouth are huge in this industry.

Yup, I had the work done at BarnBuilt! I don't think they have a website, but they do have Instagram. They are located in Beeton Ontario, only shop I'll ever go to. They do amazing work, let them know I sent you!

Videos are a bit behind, already begun the tuning process. So far I haven't had any issues but definitely keeping an eye on it. Still unsure if this mac valve is authentic or not. But thank you for the comment!

You can get them from anywhere, they are all the same.

From the firewall back is still all factory. Not worth upgrading with -6an lines.

So far I've only done etuning. STi was by Eric from Torqued Performance, Legacy is TaylorDTuning

It’s powered by the seat fuse which only turns on when the car is on.

@@zach_lushI am looking to plug in my always on fuse which means I’m looking for a fuse that has power without turning on the car, correct? This way if I park the car my camera still runs because I’m plugged into a fuse that’s always on. So I don’t plug it into the heated seat fuse because you explained it only powers on if the car is on right?

@patrickchan1026 the seat motors work when the car isn't running, the heated part is only one when running, radio is the same. So wire it up to the seat motor and you'll be good

Well happy you found me! I remember having issues with the 2 wires like how you mentioned. Once it's warm again outside I'll do some tinkering. I'm planning on having the vent tabs for free online, just need to upload them. That way if you own a 3D printer you can make them yourself. If you don't I can always make them and shop them to you for a small fee. Thanks

@ no 3d printer, but if you’re willing to print me a set I’d buy ‘em. Also, the vent tubes from my nav unit help in holding in the head unit a lot more securely…they have additional tabs that help hold it all in place.

I've gotten a new printer so just need to print one and test to confirm it's still a good fit. You mentioned you had the factory NAV, is that like the ones in the Spec B? I'm guessing they have different tubes compared to the one I had.

Sorry to hear that. If I was in your position I would've removed the unit as well. Currently I have 3 of these aftermarket head units in my cars. I can't say I've experienced the same thing.

I never said I wanted to get rid of the COBB AP. Also never said anything about WHP and the AP limitations. I was forced to switch to open source due to the green speed update and my tuner was unable to use the AP anymore. This is due to emission related items being removed. Since then tuners have found work arounds, but a lot of tuners in my area are in the same position. Clearly your hate is caused from you not understanding what is actaully going on.

@@zach_lushMost importantly you can’t even use your Ap anymore because the files aren’t compatible! You would have to retune or pay a tuner to convert the file if you wanted to go back to the Ap. 😂 Bin file and Csv, ptm there are others. I know for sure you have no clue!

@Vonte603 yes, I'm 100% aware of that. Hence why it was unmarried. But your comment is redundant. Once the car is tuned i would never have to retune it. Why would i pay for a other tune just to get the AP back? Only reason to do so is if I were to add more mods to it to create more power. So at that point yes I'd be paying for a new tune, and at that same time I can go back to the AP. So it really doesnt matter.

Its a pretty solid unit so far. I think the paint can be cleaned up with some acetone. Gotta find something that wont damage the plastic. But agreed, having physicl buttons are better, but you'd have to give up a larger screen. However since you have the steering wheel contrs its not that bad.

Nice! But yes it is that simple. The shifter can be installed in 20 mins without a problem. Bushings are the time killer

last time I dealt with brake lines was about 10 years ago. it was a vintage Dodge Ram that my friend kept as a beater truck at his house on Martha's Vineyard. Shops on the island wanted $4K to do it.; I had him order the kit on Amazon. He flew me up and I spent a day under the truck. Then we went tubing and fishing! Fun! Apparently beater trucks are a status symbol on the island...LOL.

@ thanks for replying, yea I did but the switch are bigger than the oem blank and wouldn’t fit. I also noticed your switch has the green lights and all the other switches on ebay/amazon are orange/amber. if you have a spare switch by any chance im willing to buy or if have a link for it i would appreciate it. thanks again
