Hi, thanks for the comment. What seems to sound confusing for you? Do you know Meadow - this video is a how to play for expansion for Meadow: Downstream and might be hard to understood without knowing the base game :)

@@rebelstudiogames Hi there. Yeah, i have Meadow and haven't played it yet. Waiting to move o'seas before opening it up. I found it confusing cos so many rules, one after the other....yet I am new to board games so it could very well be me needing to catch up with modern-day ones 🙂

I liked the style of humor! I think it was the pacing and execution that needed work. I don't think you should scrap this approach. Instead, just polish it a bit.

I also don't like it and neither did my roommates but the thing is nowadays nobody wants to be negative or say anything that can offend anybody... Especially in the gaming community. So it was not funny but I felt if I said something I was gonna get bullied for it. So when I saw this comment I felt relieved.

Thanks for the kind words! Right now we are using all our power to work on Avel: the Card Game, so there is no new expansion for Chronicles of Avel in development proces right now. But we never say never :) Maybe you have some interesting ideas for future expansions that you will like to share? And yes, we are reprinting Adventurer's Toolkit so it should be easier to get soon :)

@@rebelstudiogames That's fantastic news! We have a few ideas of possible expansions! - A different map could mix things up! - Bonus Toughness. These could be from new potions or magic. They could be in the shape of a shield with the inside hollow, so that it fits on top of the Heart toughness markers - A new character template that fits in the character square. This new template could fit new equipment items instead of the standard helmet/sword/shield/boots. It could be suited for other classes, like maybe a magician or a bard, instead of a warrior. Their weapons could have support effects for other players, etc. They could also have their own separate dice if necessary. - It would be cool to see more of the story of Oberon and Titania. Maybe more characters they know of. Perhaps even a character named Avi (I had to try). It would be super cool to expand more on all of the stuff with the different moons as well! - Small customisable minion/familiar boards. There's been pets and creatures, but it would be cool to have a familiar or minion that we can customise along with our character. These are all just random ideas and you can feel free to take any forwards! We have tons more but I don't want to overwhelm!

Hi Michele! Happy to hear that the video is helpful for you. Regarding your question: the character can pass through and/or stop on the tile with monster and is not forced to fight the monster. It's always a player decision to strat the fight.

Yes! We really focus on this line and we have some exciting things coming :)

We are playing CoA together as whole family and we absolutely love it. I personally like that this is one of few games where cooperating really can matter and I like to think that my almost 6 years old son got from it some good memories and also a fundamental understanding of the teamwork´s benefits. Great work and looking for the expansion :)

@@Zewlik my youngest is 4 and while he doesn't always get it my other 2 kids are so into it they help him along a lot with no issues.....the only complaint I have is it doesn't scale that easily to 2 player especially with bad rolls, but a couple house rules fix it easily.....hope they come out with more character cards to color in too 😁
