That's the 1st I heard of them, so it's extra special to me. But Far Beyond Driven and Vulgar Display of Power are masterpieces. They evolved and their power grew. I loved them as much!

30 years ago today December 14th 1993 i witnessed a show that TO THIS DAY out of 100s of shows ive seen before and after DO NOT match the INTENSITY and ENERGY of this great band PANTERA!! Im in this concert video along with friends some no longer among us and some still around 30 years later! To top off this monumental show a few months later before the release of Far Beyond Driven i was at a magazine stand and saw an issue of RIP magazine with PanterA on the cover with interviews by the band and the late great Darrell "Dimebag" Abbott was asked "Out of all the shows they had played up to that point which one was the craziest?" Dime responded to the effect of " Well i don't like to say one city is better than the other but these MUTHERFUCKERS in PUERTO RICO were jumping off the stage like they were DIVING INTO A SWIMMING POOL!!" I could not believe what i had just read and was ECSTATIC and Proud that we made that huge of an impact that night December 14th 1993 on Dimebag! Phil being the boxing aficionado that he is to this day brought out none other than boxing great Jon Jon Molina onstage and we all cheered him on! 😅😂 What an unforgettable evening that will stay ingrained in my mind FOREVER!!! REST IN POWER HERMANOS DARRELL "Dimbag" ABBOTT & VINNIE PAUL ABBOTT! WE MISS YOU! 🤘😛🤘

omg i went to this concert, and at the beginning of arcadia i can just barely hear me screaming

I am an old man from a generation long gone and only recently discovered this band and i think they are amazing. I saw led zeppelin and many of the great bands of the 70s, and this band is up there with those great bands. Totally original, i can hear their influences without copying any of them. Live for the music!

I used to take my daughter to see avenged sevenfold at the warp tours. She always blasted them in the car. I have been listening to the now. We are going to see them in west palm beach in September. Yeah. My daughter is now 27. I'm 50. We love this band.
