Karimabad is located in Hunza Valley, Nothern Pakistan. It took 17 hours to reach by car but it was definitely worth the journey. Looks like a barren mountainous land..nothing much scenic. Even lodging looks like worn down place. Need better infrastructure.
We visited in Winter so unfortunately didn't get the full experience of the views. We also chose to stay with a local family, rather than a nicer hotel which there are many of in the area!
This is in remote mountainous region, where flash floods and rocks and giant boulders are always falling off the side of the mountains. Its also difficult to maintain since building infrastructure in mountainous regions a challenge for construction equipment etc. If you can provide the money for better infrastructure then they would gladly accept.
