I had the pleasure of meeting Michael on the Season 7 Idol tour. I brought a sign to the concert that said "Crikey Mikey" which I affectionately nicknamed him during the competition, that I showed him backstage. He laughed and said "Crikey Mikey, that's cute!" and signed it before hugging me and I kissed his hand before leaving, to which he jokingly responded "Why thank you Madam!" Best memory of that entire night. We spoke a number of times after that night on MySpace and later Facebook. He's sure missed to this day.

Michael was awesome. I spent a good bit of time with him in Palm Springs. He was a fun soul and a caring soul. Obviously had a tremendous voice. I miss him to this day. God bless!
