TC Tackle test day! The ultimate test...

Come watch as I put the brand new TC Tackle plastics to the ultimate test. Chasing Flathead in tough conditions isn't easy at the best of times. But if you're loaded with the right lures you can over come any condition. @Team_traces_currant @TC_Tackle_Official @BCFChatswood

270 UL
The best value rods on the market. But the line classes are not accurate, which is sadly very common these days. The "UL" model you have is a 3 to 4 kilo rod in reality. Not the ideal soft plastics rod, but its slightly stiffer tip is ideal for working metal blades and soft vibes. The blank technology in these rods is outstanding. The quality control is amazing. Daiwa on the other hand make you pay twice as much for rods that are lower performance and not straight. I own 9 Zodias. The reson it feels so good is that the modulus of the blanks is very high, comparable to Loomis GLX.
I’m gonna be spending 100$ a fortnight too build up my gear
is this a good rod for fishing off a ferry jetty
Loved the video
Kacey Ports
hey mate what reel were u using?
I use aird LT 2000, freams 2000, TD black 2000. And ultegra 1000
14:00, did that guy say it’s his pet?? Hahaha
You’d be surprised how many times I’ve had people say that to me
keep up the good work🎉🎉
hey mate, I think i've bumped into you at the tunks boat ramp before (group of kids admiring your sick boat), awesome video, casting under those marinas always works so well!
Nice vid mate I just bought myself a little set up wish I saw this before cause I probably would have picked the Diawa up. Never fished soft plastics but kinda keen to give it a go, one thing I didn’t know BFC can spool your rod for you how much does it cost to do that?
Sorry for the late reply! I don’t think it costs very much! I can’t give an estimate because I’m really not sure
This actual helped thanks
A bit over budget including boat. Fishing challenges should always be land based that the average family can do.
Apologies for owning a boat I guess? 😂
The Victoria trip sunburned us all I reckon mate 😂. Catch you on the water soon 🎣😎
I got the same rod Mad rod good for lures and for little creeks
What model Zodias would you have been using ?? Cheers
You go lil fella..........
Good on you Aaron, keep it up. I’ve been doing a comp up here in Forster, but mediocre results. An open type comp, with three largest. target species of Bream, Flathead, Whiting, Snapper, Kingies, Jewfish. Three biggest of each you can get. Good thing as well, up to you whether want to fish lake or outside, or landbased which I am. Called the Wallace Lake Fishing Company.
$100 kit on $30 k boat, to introduce people to fishing spending only $100 on kit you should have been land based.
Hey mate thanks for the comment, I understand what your saying I really do but you can do what I do in a tinny, in a kayak, however you like, doesn’t matter if it’s a 30k boat or a 10 dollar canoe
It’s funny the way fishermen get attached to their particular rods, reels even the certain soft plastics they go to. The confidence, combos and baits. I bought a new rod, a Daiwa Infeet Z 712 L.F.S. There is no doubt, a great rod and well over the $300 mark. However I always choose my Shimano Maikuro II 702 2-4kg. It’s only a $80 rod but I love it, always feel comfortable using it and I’ve caught so many fish with it. The light tackle game so quirky like that, yeah.😮
That ramp is bad as.... I got stuck unable to get my 5m boat out at mid-tide. Had to wait to high tide to be able to get it out due to the sand at the bottom of the ramp
I have the L version in the zodias, but it's a bit too stiff for what I need it for still a top rod. Bought the UL version for top water and flats fishing. Its perfect it's crisp in the tip, so there's no line slap after you load it. I've had mine for a week paired to a 2500ci4+. For the money, you ant go wrong.
Absolutely agree for the money can’t go wrong!
Cool vids man. I use zodias for sp. Also a millerod for sp. Daiwa infeet for cranks.
nice addy mate, great towing cars
$1000 dollar barn find. its my second addy. absolutely love them
@@TeamTracesCurrant damn, 1k is unheard of these days
Nice video made. I fished that day as well. Fishing was tough as you said but managed to find a few up the river on crank baits. Could agree more about the club. I fished as a visitor but will definitely be joining before next season.
Good video. I'd need at least a gps lock trolling motor though....
hey mate, definitely don't need a gps lock trolling motor to do it. I hardly use my gps. only use it when I've caught a fish and need to stop in one spot.
@TeamTracesCurrant I do have a tiller handle motor that I can use. So unless there's wind, I can tiller troll and toss lures about...
Awesome video bruv’ nice to see some younger folk helping us try to get into tournament fishing!
