Milwaukee M18 12.0 not charging fully? here's the fix
Is your Milwaukee M18 12.0 Battery not reaching 4/4 charge bars off the charger? This is due to "lazy cells" or banks that fall out of sync with its siblings. Somehow it discharges differently and the electronics just ignore it. Here's how to fix it:
1. Charge your M18 battery on the m18 charger. The light on the charger will be green, but the LED reader will 3/4 bars.
2. Take off case. To unfasten the battery case, you will need a T-10 Torx Security screwdriver. It has a tiny circular recess in the head to fit onto the security torx screw in the battery. There 8 screws total.
3. Purchase a AA battery smart charger. You will need one with a voltage readout and milliamp (mAH) read out. The s...

    Interesting video! After buying the Milwaukee 31" track i decided i couldn't spend $260 for 2 of their 55" tracks, especially when the Wen tracks are so much cheaper and work with Milwaukee's anti tip feature unlike other brand tracks. I have heard several people say the 55" tracks are better than the 50" tracks so i went with the 55"x2 and so far I'm happy. The main difference i see is the Milwaukee grips better and the aluminum is about twice as thick in some spots

    This is exactly what I was looking for, wondering of Milwaukee track saw would work with the Wen rail. How did your do.?

    • @kjc10
      @kjc10 3 месяца назад

      The Milwaukee saw works on it just fine. The dial on the saw micro-adjusts to saw to the width of the rail alignment tab. I bought a set of WEN 55" rails (2) and WEN 50" rails (2) and they all seem to work interchangeably and connect ok - without needing to adjust the dial. The issue will happen when connecting WEN brand rail to Milwaukee brand rail, because of 0.2mm difference in width. When you tighten or loosen the dial, it will change where the blade lands on the cut strip. Moral of the story, stick with 1 brand of rail and you'll be fine. I think the 55" WEN rails are superior to their 50" rails and would have bought (4) of them if I had the chance.

      @kjc10 you sir are a good man! Thank you for the info. I got the rails and will also upload a video showing them to hopefully help others like you did.

    Is it the auto? Sounds like the torque converter is slipping and clutching back and forwards

      Auto transmission. Works fine usually , sometimes the odd hard drop into drive... I can slowly get up to 110 km/h on the highway no issue but flooring it up the incline of a hill past 2400 rpm it does this where it sputters for fuel? The gas pedal floored is constant the majority of this video

    And Ellen's still going at 91. Somehow despite being aware of this man for nearly 25 years I've never managed to see an interview or anything with him. Seemed like a uniquely interesting man, wish I could have sat with him. Such wonderful insights.

    Hey guys, here is a caption for the video: brand new saw and guide rails. I aligned my saw to the Milwaukee track first then put it on the WEN rails and noticed some slop. The WEN rail guide part is about 15.67 mm while the Milwaukee guide part is 15.88mm on average. The WEN to WEN connection was 15.72 to 15.68 or 0.04mm difference - enough to notice brand new but will likely just wear off over time.

      I hear that. Was early 20s, "that could never happen to me." 10 years later I'm off and on addicted to morphine and oxycodone, took losing a friend to heroin to realize I was an idiot for what I was doing, and 2 years after him at that. Then I just became an alcoholic for 5 years. Now over 5 years sober, revisiting films and books and just conversations about addiction, as well as dreams achieved and lost, hit very differently. The other day I read someone say they first watched it when they were 13 or 14 and immediately went to their mother's room crying and gave her a hug. I dunno if that's someone who got it or just the power of cinema, but it's something.

    Try to loosen the screw and bolt that holds the sliding block. Clean the plate and oil them up. When you out it back together do not over tighten the screw and bolt.

      Moonie Dizzle hi Moonie, it turns out I had loosened the tension nut all the way before disengaging the tensioning bar- all it takes is the proper order of operations to restore proper functioning. And yes the 10-353 is a beast I've been doing milling on it from Arborist neighbor throwing me stuff now and then. No regrets as I bought this instead of paying woodworker school tuition. I paid 2k $ on Amazon and got it deliver to my garage door. In hindsight I feel the versions with 1.75hp or 2 HP motors would probably suffice for most craft applications ppl would have as artisan workers. I actually need a buddy to help handle the bigger material that pushes the resaw capacity to the max. The machine is a great balance of functions. I will post a shop tour video when I'm done making it. Cheers from Summerland BC Canada
