They are great! I have a Titan log grapple and love it!
Love ash. How much do they charge for a load in Maine?
Yes sir good looking stuff
if you need a full service manual I can email a full shop manual for t494
Good looking stuff 💪
Thank you!
That’s alot of splits .
It sure is!
Let’s hope next season is even busier for us. No complaints about this year’s business but more is better.
I've m ade tons of kindling with my supersplit
Phil still glass a pile of it. Bet he would sell it to you. But he shipping would be a killer. 😊
@@smorefirewood darn shipping, gets us every time!
@@woodtimesinthe207. I already sold a cord of it to a guy so I should be good .
Where could I get wholesale wood like this?
Good to see you still kicking. Keep at it the busy season is 1/2 over!
Been crazy busy and just trying to keep up! Thanks Russ!
What are you running for air pressure for saw
Awww, we miss our yellow lab, Gunner. Best boys out there! ❤
Karen, they are the best!
hi there they are cute , john
Hi John! Was a neat sight to see for sure.
I've bought a couple IBC containers of wood from you. Had the red truck and told you I checked the moisture and it was around 12%. Anyway, I want to stock up this summer for the coming winter. Might get some kindling as well. Take care.
Sounds great John! Anytime you are ready we can get you whatever you need.
You need OLD BUSTER from Allen Family firewood 🪵 yard buddy 😊.
Yeah you’re probably right!
I’d say that’s a good account to have . I’m starting to catch on to this hardwood thing . We’ve always bundled and sold bulk pine to the campers but I’m seeing that a lot of them want hardwood now .
The campground is definitely our bread and butter. We started way back with softwood only then started offering hardwood as well. This year the campground decided to do hardwood and kindling only. Working out great so far.
Job well done right there.
Thanks man!
Looks great!👍👍
Thank you!! We try to keep it nice and neat for them.
That’s good sized hornbeam. Great firewood but doesn’t split the best.
Real stringy. Great firewood tho. I ended up with a few good sticks of it that came from the same wood lot over the last year or so. I think that’s the last of it. I’ve seen it slow down even the larger processors in a 4-way or a 6-way wedge.
@@woodtimesinthe207 makes fantastic tool handles also.
@@WilleysFirewoodsure does. I thought about putting some across the sawmill but didn’t end up doing it.
hi there good splitting john
Thanks John!
the WHO can go pound sand
Not sure what you mean but thanks for watching.
Thanks for the mention 😃👍 you and Debbie have yourselves a good day.
Same to you guys! Thanks for watching!
oh the cuteness meter is broke with this!!!!
She’s a sweetheart for sure!!
I have a 574 on my channel as well, no cab, but same machine. Great tractor, I'm at 380 hrs and the machine has never let me down.
I’m at 325 hours now. Love the tractor. Only issue has been a cracked hydraulic cooler which I think was just defective. I showed that in another video.
Just bought my t574 yesterday.
@@originalmicdrop I'm at 450...ish hrs now, still very happy with my machine. Enjoy it
@Mountaintoptractor we’ve got about 560 hours on this one now
I'm using Triax UTTO full synthetic in my 574. It doesn't thicken up so much in the colder weather.
Good to know. Thank you!
What are forks rated for?
I’m honestly not sure. Definitely not rated for what I was doing.
The processor looks like it’s working well! Keep on grinding.
I’m happy with it overall. It fits in good in our operation for sure. The large and very capable log deck is definitely a plus.
Going to the shows is always fun but it’s time to get back to work and try and get caught up now .
Had a great time at the show but plenty of work to get caught up on as always!
Really appreciate the shout out. Was awesome meeting you guys. I need to get you a sticker.
Great meeting you too! Thanks for watching!
hi there thanks for the walk around , john
Thanks John!
hi there thanks for taking me around , john
Thank you for taking the tour
Busy is good. Nice yard guys.
Thank you!
hi there a bit much for me john
Definitely a big machine John!
And dreams
Absolutely!!
Thanks for the tour I never saw that sawdust wrapper or the excavator with the forks . Definitely a top notch show with a lot of new equipment.
They were pretty cool for sure. We didn’t see them until we headed over to watch the Axe Women show.
Where was this at
Essex Junction, Vermont
To produce massive amounts of cooking fuel I think we need European-style side-puncher type splitters designed for all species of wood. Some are only for softwood. Rabaud, not Fuelwood, is best. Better would be if someone would produce them here (North America). I saw Andrew Easton on his 40c in this video. Cord King's Kindling King is too slow and makes kindling. I don't want kindling. The pieces are too long. If short blocks were used the output would be even less. The wood needs to go through two splitters --- not good. We can produce restaurant quality cooking wood but we cannot produce wood for cooking at home. What is the problem with North America? Why can't we have even one producer of an appropriate piece of equipment? We need emergency fuel, not kindling. Will you join this campaign or are you against it or don't you care? I am asking for a few words from you, relevant to this issue.
Now that’s a big wood pellet.
Sure is!
It was awesome meeting you guys! Had a lot of fun!
Great meeting you too!! Definitely a great time!!
Absolutely hate making kindling but man she pays good.. we load up the trailer with 320 bags of wood and bring 100 or more kindling along for the ride .. our old bags were probably 2 times your bundle but we sell them for 5 each wholesale.. well that covers the fuel and wages for the trip and a bit more .. making the 320 bundles all profit.. sucks to make but adds up quick!!
Very time consuming but it is a substantial part of our business. We sell all we can make at this point without having to try very hard. Definitely something I plan to expand on real soon.
Nice tour..
Thanks for watching!
Looks like there was plenty to look at.
There was so much to see!
Birch is a pain .. even if you clean it before loading it will appear it has never been cleaned..
Very true. We had a lot of cleaning up to do but that made some great wood for us to sell.
I should get gramp a hot saw! The way he files he would for sure win.
Probably better make sure it’s a Husqvarna though. He looks good running those. 😉
@@woodtimesinthe207 he wouldn’t run anything but 👍🏻
@@WilleysFirewoodsuch a great man!
What is the dimensions of a bag in inches?
We use the .75 cubic foot bag. 18”x25”
@@woodtimesinthe207 we have 20x20.. cut at 12"
@@buckinfirewoodall 16” wood we use here.
It was great meeting you guys. Great show. Who is that good looking dude on the Eastonmade Axis. Lol
lol, that would be our new friend Bear! It was awesome meeting you guys as well! We can’t wait to see more of your video’s and Bailey ❤️
Nice tool. Should help increase production to allow more production
That’s exactly how I explained it to the boss lady before the purchase!😉
Cedar lumber is pretty.
Sure is! We move all we can make with no problem.
I just noticed the rust on the beam and table. You will soon have that baby mirror smooth.
Yes it had been sitting a few weeks when we made that short but you could see yourself well enough to shave now if you could stand the glare!
@@woodtimesinthe207 it doesn’t take long for the rust to show and less time for it to go.
