This guy is tough to figure out at first. Bosses such as Dark Inferno, Dark Riku, Terranort, Luxord, Marluxia, Young Xehanort, Xion, Ansem, and Yozora seems much easier to handle because you can react to their attacks more consistently. Bosses like Vanitas, Saix, Larxene, Xigbar, Xemnas and Master Xehanort requires reading the fight ahead of time which makes them harder in comparison. Because if you lose track of what attack comes afterwards, you will get hit from attacks that come off so quickly. In any case, Vanitas has more openings but its more hidden. The key to those are only aero. Those teleport moves he did, you have to cast aero beforehand. The one before DM is easy but the keyblade barrage requires some dodging for hitting Vanitas out from his 4th teleport with aero before casting and the slow fireball attack requires summon aero, guarding the teleport attack and then the split fireball attack before you can punish. I haven't been able to replicate the opening for keyblade barrage and slow fireball attack consistently yet because those moves are so rare to see that there isn't enough room to practice it back to back in 1st phase. Those fire showers he does, the height of his jump tells you if he is going to slam from above or not. If all 3 jumps had the same height, he won't slam but if the first two jumps is shorter than the 3rd, he will slam.

I need to know your streaming schedule, man. I need to see you finish this off live. I hear you wanting counters so here two for you 1. When he summons the sword behind you, you can air slide next to him with a good amount of distant, if done right, you block the sword in the air, and can reprisal. If you come to close he will disappear and change direction of the sword tho, and if you are too far away you will only get the block, took me a long time to get that in. 2. With the slow laser, if you jump up, and hit X, sora will fly into the laser and flash step the laser, hit X one more time to flash step again, and you can counter him with a reprisal :) I know it's hard to change your ways, just giving some tips ^^
