Something about this makes me wanna get Donald in Mathmagic Land on VHS again

I just noticed that they reused the Fox logo from True Lies (the logo’s debut film), but obviously replaced the 1994 fanfare with the 1981 version.

I have the Original 1994 LaserDisc.

Ok, this is the same as the European and US "Special Edition". Same shitty 4/3 master, same menus. I bet this is the contents of DVD I saw on a Yodobashi store as I was in Japan in 2019, sold as new.

Thank you so much for uploading the Laserdisc openings of the Japanese 2000 Star Wars Trilogy Laserdisc boxset. For a long time I've always been super curious to see what the openings on these Japanese laserdiscs looked like. Right now I'm thinking about getting the 2000 Japanese Star Wars Trilogy Laserdisc boxset once I save enough I'll definitely own it.

3:12 Talk about a rarity. One would never expect to see a VHS-pitched THX logo on a DVD of all places. Physical media is so fascinating at times.

I like to think that, had Lionsgate not acquired Artisan in 2003, this logo would've been used more frequently.

Fun fact: This video was uploaded exactly 20 years today since Disney’s Fast Play was first introduced. Actually, I never knew that the Fast Play feature skipped the Disney DVD logo back then!

The menus back then were so much better! Why can't they go back to interactive DVD menus like this old girl there?

Just for the record, I am aware of the audio glitch on the Broadway trailer. That's how it comes off the disc.

Probably the closest thing to DVD quality for the Paramount feature presentation bumper. Maybe the same can be said for MCA/Universal Home Video logo.
