The males can get up to 40kg and quite large in size . The girls normally about 30to 35kg and girls can get to medium to a large size but most of the time they always smaller then males . Great bread socialise them from young . Train them and there the coolest bread you could own m8

Akita's are such loyal, loving, and protective dogs. I'm 5 9', and a friend of mine had one, and he would jump up, put his paws on my shoulders, look me in the eyes, and start howling because he was so pleased to see me. I read somewhere that were bred by the Japanese to protect samurais while they slept. These are youngsters, they get big 🙂
Yes I got 2 adults and two puppy s but there are coming up to 3years . They like jumping up and looking into your eyes bless them a They are so cool

Mt akata was my first dog and I was young and just learning (he was a bit of a handful) I had a shar-pei after that .... then my girlfriend got me into bullies have 2 now ....such a gentle breed
I would have another akita again though...older and wiser now and still have lots of love for the breed
