When it comes to plants...my Grandfather avid gardner, used to say: plants don't like when it is too good. I interpret it: DON'T GIVE TOO MUCH WATER(stick your finger in ground, if its moist = don't water, not all plants like direct sunlight, give less " nutritions".

I love this message. It resonates with me since much of it has been on my own mind, too. One thing that I'm not entirely sure about: the distinction between "existing and living every day to the fullest." I assume that many people (though I'm not sure if those would be the people who would frequent your channel in the first place) might equate "living to the fullest" to a very passionate kind of lifestyle, possibly extreme on the side of constant stimulation and/or instant gratification. I prefer a hopefully healthy balance myself. Taking a quiet moment or even regular time off helps put emphasis on the times when we, so to say, celebrate life fully, whatever that means to the individual person. If life's just a rush, i think it can feel empty and shallow, and not much better than if one just existed, and equally exhausting, just in a different way. Of course, you, or anyone, may have a different idea of what "living to the fullest" means, and that could turn all I just said on its head. Just my 2 cents, and of course, it's open for discussion. I did the whole olive branch thing, back in November and all I got was manipulation, finger pointing, criticism and the whole kit and kaboodle so I put my own mental health as a priority and retreated. Family manipulation is real and I'm ok with being no contact with them after 50+ years of it, however, when they manipulate your own child (adult child) that's just not on. I would love nothing more than having my Son around, however he's been manipulated since he was seven and I'm not open to his abuse either. I've spent many years but in particular, the last two, looking at myself, trying to understand what happened and why and basically kept myself within four walls, not comfortable socializing etc

Ouch! This is so absolutely spot on. It relates more to work in particular, but can apply it to my personal life too. I am sooo exhausted & drained, bending myself out of shape to fit in, & not impose on other people & their small & petty ways, & then not have it acknoweldged or appreciated let alone reciprocated. I can feel there's another throw the bathwater out moment imminent & I'm at the point where the baby is going out with it too, as I just don't have the energy to filter out the good stuff so I can hold onto it. There's a number of hills I'm now prepared to die on, & will. But it's breaking my heart 😢. Again 😢
