Description:2006 JEEP LIBERTY SPORT A/C coil removal there's two kids of A/C coil removal.
What vehicle, engine and transmission?
I have a 2000 mazda bseries original transmission was 4r44e and I installed a 03 ford ranger 5r44e transmission in it and it needs a new automatic transmission shifter cable I did notice that my old one was 50.9 in and the new one I bought is 60inches or longer ik its longer then mazda b but I need a cable probably like 53 54 inches to reach the shift adapter bc my original one did not even reach the shift adapter and then I gotta find a one but I'm unsure what size because this one is too long Lmk if u can find a shifter cable that would work with my truck
Oh my fucking god dude it’s pry not prive or whatever the fuck your saying dude where did yoh go to school holy shit
What vehicle is this???
Quick question , do all transmission linkage come off like that ? I have a zf transmission and I'm taking it out of the car . The cable is attached to an arm just like that with a plastic ball on end do I carefully pry it off ? I have a plastic fork remover I can use instead of screw driver
Thank you! I was tripping there was no coil snap ring. I needed to know it was just pressure. Off to get a bigger hammer!
Thanks, just what I was looking for. 👌
Yeah man tou have too private out
You actually slip the clip off the splines
DO NOT hammer the pulley off. That's how you can damage the A/C Compressor seal, and lose all your refrigerant. Use a Puller!
Excellent video! You're the only person I found so far that actually explained how to take the cable off. Thank you very much you're doing a great job keep up the good work!!!
My fault for not noticing that those were snap ring pliers, but damn. I just destroyed my compressor because you were saying washer. Started tapping on the back of the pully and KLINK, done. Luckily i was able to swap the compressor pretty quick.
I had no problem following this video on my 2007 Jeep Liberty the only thing is, I wish you would have covered the years that were applicable to this removal because I was hesitant to do it since it was said it was for 2006 Liberty.
I also have a 2006, it is known as the worst year for liberties. Have replaced mine twice.
Oye
que pasa te escusho
Thank you, your video explanation just totally helped me on removing the coil that i was unable to figure out how to remove it on my 2008 Jeep Liberty. Forget jerky comments because you were the solution to a very difficult mechanical moment. Thank you for taking the time to help others like myself who need the knowledge AND appreciate it !!! Brad
most welcome
I agree the video is a little rough and he isnt the most informative, BUT!!, he IS correct. There are 2 types of coils. 1 that is held there with a snap ring and one(like he describes) that is pressed on. This video actually helped me as i couldnt find a snap ring on mine so with some gentle persuasion with a hammer mine came off without incident.
This apparently also involves evacuating the system. It AIN'T that simple. Your tools are way too rudimentary. I used a clutch puller tool to remove that pulley and it was a pain in the neck. You don't just whack it with a hammer. This is one of the worst DIY videos I've ever seen. Have you ever completed this project with laying success before?
who said you have to evacuate the system. the refrigerant doesnt go through the clutch and bearing assembly. normally you would use a puller, ratchet and socket, and snap ring pliers. he didnt explain it well but being a mechanic i completely understand his DIY description although it was lacking in details for layman.
it works
He needs to name the tools and firm understanding of what’s going on
Are you sure there isnt a huge snap ring on the backside of that ac coil?
Sean Aiello is that a snap ring that I saw on there? It was 9pm when I finally got to that point.
If I was confused on doing this after watching this baba booey now I’m really confused
all you have to do is hear it well to understand it.. just listen
I tried last night with a puller and snap ring pliers. Ugh! That coil isn't coming off.
just do it ,,,,,it will come through.
This is a terrible video, he obviously doesn’t know what he is talking about. It’s a socket and a jack stand
understanding is the key to success
follow my instruction you will come through
Wish you would have showed how to do it not just talk about it
RUclips believes in equal opportunity. Hit it as HARD AS YOU CAN, you won't hurt anything!!!!
it's true
I appreciate the effort but this is pretty fucking useless considering you didn't show the work being done.
