Very true. It's probably because of how much different experiencing it in VR is to seeing it on a flat screen.

The best way I mitigate this is by putting my camera position back using the record mod, otherwise, just like you said it looks faster than what is actually is

With time you'll be able to play this to, I'm sure of it!

As someone who also plays on expert+ I can say their arm's will definitely be sore afterwards.

It has been a struggle though to try and catch back up to where I was when I consistently played, but I'm sure I'll be able to get there eventually. Oh, by the way, did you figure out how to turn off custom colors for maps?

Merry late Christmas to you as well! I'm surprised neither of you or Kamina did a video, but it's whatever. I barely remembered to do it myself because of all the holiday distractions and end of the Fall semester at my college. I did try to find a hard map for a Christmas song, but couldn't really find anything insanely difficult.

@@DeepDishSad there weren't really any interesting Christmas songs to play. Even if I did find one, I couldn't because I was having a problem with my camera2 mod. Well, I'm glad one of us was able to do a Christmas song.

Thank you man! When it comes to these types of maps, I'm usually only able to do the shorter 2-3 minute ones but I just barely managed to get through this one. I'm sure with time you too will be able to last through these songs once your wrists fully heal and you get more used to your style of swinging.

@@DeepDishSad maybe in the far future I'll finally learn how to do these kind of songs. But for now I stick to what i can do and practice the ones I'm getting the hang of.

Thank you very much! Yeah, those bombs caught me completely off guard. I had just misread a pattern and all of the sudden the mapper pulls that out of their butt. Also, my cable has almost never gotten in my way but today it must have not been adjusted properly or something.

Honestly, it feels that way sometimes. There was another version of this I was going to do, but it was a little too techy for me.

Oh they felt like something all right. All I felt were notes, but it was not as tiring as I thought it would be, so that's a plus.

Thank you man! Yeah, it sometimes feels like an inconvenience to pick up the VR headset and load up the game even when just sitting at the computer. The game's very fun, but the energy sometimes just isn't there, especially when attempting to beat rather difficult songs. At least you're keeping some consistency though, that's always good.

Yeah, if it made you feel that sick, then it definitely wasn't a good idea to do ot so late at night. Maybe you were tired or something and it led to you being so afflicted by the game.

Thank you very much! I had much more fun with V3 than with V2. As for the streams, I do tend to use my wrist more to help establish a rhythm and keep my sabers on track with the notes. However, something I've noticed is that with streams, swinging harder will help maintain the sabers' rhythm with the stream, rather than trying to swing quicker. This can cause the sabers to be too low, leading to bad cuts.

As for tips on this song: try not to get overwhelmed with the streams and jumps (try not to think too much when you're swinging, I do that sometimes and end up missing notes), stay in a rhythm for the streams, and practice specific sections if you need to.

Thank you! I honestly at one point thought the same thing, and most songs like these either require it to be a good day for me or luck is involved and I pick up on the rhythm. Also, I'm sure you'll be able to do songs like these some day; you just need to keep tempering your arms until you can keep up.

Well, that sounds time consuming; perhaps the gym then? Going two to three times a week should help build up stamina in your arms and your whole body. You don't have to go if you don't want to though, I'm only encouraging it, not trying to force it.

Thank you! Rapid fire notes are my favorite kinds of notes, but sometimes map makers go a little extreme on how rapid they are and I'm sitting there wondering how long I need to practice to reach the speeds the map requires.

Thank you! Sadly I don't know much about troubleshooting for the Steam version of Beat Saber. I use the Oculus store's version of Beat Saber on PC. My only guess is that the most recent version of Beat Saber doesn't have any mods available, but if it's something else then I can't really help you out much.

@@DeepDishSad Bummer. Thanks anyway. I hope they can update the mods soon. I finally got my dream pc after building it and I was going to record some songs I couldn't do on the quest 2. It updated for literally 2 songs for a 3 year map pack. What a pain.

I'm happy that you were able to get your dream PC. Hopefully the mod creators get their mods updated to the new version soon so you can get back to recording. However, you could search how to downgrade to an earlier version of Beat Saber so that you can start playing again quicker.
