Derrick Builds is a space dedicated to tinkering in the garage. The shop is setup for woodworking but now and then we drill metal and weld things together. Furniture, art and other do it yourself projects are on the top of the to-do list.

Hello, i intend on spraying a waterproofer on the inside of a tent, so this leaves a thick silicone layer on the inside of the tent? Can this cope with drenching downfall without a few drops leaking?

Your tool/parts list seems vastly more complicated than my plan. I use a tarp, 6 adjustable tarp poles. 8 tent stakes, and a little less than 200ft of rope. No need for expensive shop tools, and it breaks down into a smaller package for transport.

While I love and appreciate stop action animation. This film is a bit choppy. I have trouble seeing the antenna for the jumpy frame rate. Other than that, I like the antenna! Hows it working for you?

Yes, but not too many of them stayed up. The point of the exercise is to work as a team and have shelter that stands up to the weather. Most of the fast teams fell over in the first minute. Reminder the story of the 3 little pigs?

Yea, the sound in person was sick.
I've got one the same, but haven't used it much. I had hoped to go straight into a power amp, but the output seems a little underpowered. Perhaps that's why someone broke the master volume know on yours?). I wonder if there's a trim pot or resistor that could be adjusted to bump up the output a little? As a result, I had to add another preamp in line to obtain a solid volume. Not so ideal. Thanks for sharing. -Jeff

Right, it works that a way, but you would want 100% of the featurs to work if you paid 100% price for the item.
Bigger mic has different plug than 2'pin K style direct to HT speaker microphones. He has an early model and could/should have sent it back in a timely manner.

If you t8ghten your drive band slightly it will spin better - less backspin
