    golfgreen organic cricket manure and scotts turf builder root-trients can be a option. For some reason they don't advertise them. I believe scotts is a hybrid

  • @esond
    @esond 2 года назад

    That Scott’s stuff is weird. I don’t understand why you’d want it to be in pellets. They stick around for ages and don’t water in as easily. I busted mine down into a finer powder because that’s how I saw it sold elsewhere and it made so much more sense to me that it not be in pellets like fert.

    I dethatched and core aerogated and i am going to overseed. Can I use the corn gluten meal as a fertilizer after I overseed or do I have to wait? The reason I asked about using the corn gluten is because last year there were dandelions on the lawn. Also 2 weeks ago I sprayed fiesta broadlead leaf and week killer. Thank you.

    • @TheLawnCanuck
      @TheLawnCanuck 2 года назад

      If you used fiesta, you won’t need to use the corn gluten. Any crabgrass preventer you put down will kill seeds. If you are going to overseed, don’t use weed killer for a bit and put down some starter fertilizer a few days after

    Hi. I'm looking for information on soil tests and kits. Please send me the Guelph info you refer too. It's nice to see fellow grass people here in Ontario Canada.
