I agree ultimately with his point that God doesn’t abuse His Power. I disagree with how he communicated the point though. He frames it in a way that implies Christians should not stand against abuse earthly powers, which is 100% false. And before someone says “But Romans 15…” my quick rebuttal is “the guy who wrote that died by the hands of a government he was opposing by spreading the Word”

Paul is using sarcasm and he is reversing the old testament roles in order to show the Jews, how bad their theology of some chosen, some not chosen really was.if God really did only choose some people and didn’t love others then because the Jews were the ones abandoning Christ, it would have meant the Jews were the unchosen ones. But Paul’s entire point is that everybody is loved. Everybody is chosen. God didn’t not elect anyone.

people like this don't want people to deconstruct their faith, because then they'll discover all of the plot holes, then that will make them question it, and finally they will reach the conclusion that it simply isn't true. You want people to not question these beliefs simply because they are not true and if they realize that, you no longer control them. Money and control is all you want.
