the N20 is good and makes nice turbo whoosh sounds, but the N52 sounds way better in my opinion. Own an N52 5 series and 2015 N20 3 series. kinda wish my 3 had the N52

Handling wise, definitely. but Mercedes has stepped up immensely. The 2014 E63 will be 4MATIC and will completely destroy the new M5. And the new SL (base model) puts the new 6 series to shame. Thankfully, the 3 series still rules versus mercedes and Audi (although the new S4 and S5 are quite impressive)

Yup, thats because of the twin turbos (or the twinpower single turbo in the new 335i with the N55 engine)

Interestingly enough, Mercedes is the one with the supercar - the SLS. And now, the 2014 E63 is going to wreck the new M5. The new SL is meant for performance as well, and not just the AMG models. BUT, the C class really is just a 'c class' ... its luxurious, but its still the lowest of the low when it comes to Mercedes. The 3 series (at least the e9x and below, not sure how i'm feeling about the new F3x models) is BMWs pride, and I'd rather have my 335is over a c class any day.
