The original Xbox consoles have gotten to an age where they are showing wear particularly the interior metal cage housing which are prone to rotting.
This console was fully strip serviced, the interior metal casing was treated and primed then a new colour added our customer used a luminescent green.
We think it looks rather good!

All mine have gone, where did you get the replacements from? I can’t find a 21 contact anywhere 😕
Hi we do remeber this job parts were impossible to get hold of for it as luck had it our customers port snapped off clean with no damage to the pads or port so we were able to refit them. Its a very bad design the legs on the ports are to short and bareley make contact to the anchor points making them very weak.

Sadly not no we are based in stoke on trent, midlands. Posting is an option but does increase the cost for you as these are quite heavy for posting. Thanks for commenting.

Hi, can I just send the mother board to you instead of the whole unit?
@@20alpha20 Hi we have started communications with you on whatsapp just wanted to reply here for the sake of others, we would need the whole console no controllers or cables but the whole main unit in order to repair and fix kind regards.
No explanation at all what you did there from beginning at all what temp for heat gun??
Hi this video was never intended to be a tutorial in any way, it was just a short recording of some work happening in our workshop. To help a little we usualy start getting heat into the board at around 360c with a low airflow then we ramp up the temps to around 480 for a concentrated run on the chip. The board should be left to cool for a good while after the procedure i hope this helps.

Why do you go around the mobo? Is it to prevent the PCB from warping due to difference in heat between center and edges?
why i need 2 flash usb ?? i can burn tails on 1 usb from my computer then i enter to deep web why 2 usb goddamn??? i want to understand this !!!!
Hi this is an old video its stated in the decription that things changed regarding the installation of tails meaning you no longer need 2 drives however the video still helps lots of people with the rest of the install procedure and the 2 drive method still works so no need to take the video down we updated the decription instead hope this helps thanks.

So I just got myself a CECHA01. Began disassembly but stopped after removing power supply and disk drive because I’m pretty sure I should get my hands on thermal paste and prepare for replacement. I don’t know how to proceed :/ any guidance?
Hi sure firstly your going to need a magnetic mat or sorting tray there are a whole load of screws all different which need to go back into the right spot keeping a map of these as they are removed will help later. Also use a thermal paste with 0 metal content while nano aliminium or liquid metal is great if used incorectly will brick the console. Be sure you have all the tools you need before you start hope this helps cheers.

Hello
Hello ethan hope your enjoying your muti monitor set up buddy :)
I am :D
will this get rid of my windows os?
Hi no it wont alter the installation on your computer this will make a live bootable usb that when booted from your using tails when not booted from your computer will boot to windows as normal :)
Callear Technology so i just install the tails os onto the flash drive, plug it in and and shut off the computer and turn back on, correct?
@@a-john9617 Yes well almost your computer wont detect and automatically boot from your tails drive you would need to call for it. You may of noticed a prompt when first booting the computer something along the lines of... Press F11 for boot options The F key may vary depending on your motherboard manufacturer but youll want to figure out which it is and mash that key on first boot to get an option up to boot from your new tails drive.
Callear Technology ok thank you for quick responses
@@a-john9617 Thats no problem happy to help.
i boot into tails but cant detect wifi "no network available" and "cant find wifi adapter" how to fix this ? when i boot back to normal windows i can connect to wifi but with TAILS not.😥
what about the first usb drive how to take it back to normal i mean without any partition installed in it? is there a way that i can remove the tails installed on first usb ? btw nice tutorial 👌
Hi thanks for commenting, your issue with the wifi will be an incompatible onboard wifi card with tails sadly not all cards are compatible. You can get around this with a cheap usb wifi dongle. The first usb can be reformatted to work again if windows cant see it to do that there are free tools around to help like seagate discwizard the pen drive is fine its just formatted in a way that windows no longer sees it.
I hear a lot of videos saying when I’m accessing the darkweb to use a burner/non personal computer, is this a requirement? Because I don’t have the extra money ect. Thank you !
Hiya sure if you had the money you could use a burner device but honestly its a tad over the top. In a way with a tails live distro you are using a burner as you can pop that drive into any system do your thing and move to the next.
Callear Technology ok great, thank you !
Do you know if tails helps you change your Mac Address automatically and use anonsurf like Kodachi does????? Good tutorial btw
Tails is largely built around the onion routing protocol. I’m not sure it changes physical mac addresses but it certainly encrypts traffic and hides your ip. It also blocks many ports otherwise open to attack in standard operating systems by means of either totally disabling functions altogether or heavily restricting traffic on those ports.
@@calleartechnology8769 Thanks brother... I figured it out... There are some commands I can use via terminal to change my network card's mac address. I think that the out of the box settings for Tails are excellent, but I still wanted to change my mac address to add an extra layer of security. Great tutorial btw
My track pad and keybord doesent work anybody having the same issue?
That will be down to a driver incompatability, you wont have much chance installing one. You will be able to use a cheep usb plug in mouse instead.
When I try get into Tails it gets stuck on charging like in minutes 5:12 to 5:19 and when finisshes it just turns off my pc, what couldt be the problem? i got an MSI laptop model GL 62m 7Rex. Thanks.
Hi if you are getting an imediate shut down after selecting your new tails drive at boot, something went wrong during the making process. I would start over, remember to do a fresh format of your drive first this should sort your problem.
How back to Windows ?
Tails is a live distro so to return back to windows simply restart your computer and remove your live boot usb drive.
Great tutorial 👍 quick question once installed tails and going to browse in deep web would you recommend an additional vpn for an extra layer of protection?
Hi thanks for the comment, thats a tricky one if you have a good vpn and implement it properley ut can provide a fab extra layer of security though it will slow down an already slow connection and may prove problematic on some websites.
Callear Technology would you say you’d still be very protected/anonymous without a vpn when using tails (e.g. can’t be traced)
@@wasted1975 honestly nothing is 100% even a vpn can be surcomvented by the right person with the right gear. But tails is very secure and certainly wont be bypassed by the vast majority.
Callear Technology ok, thank you for the help. Another question so I’m wondering if it’d be safer to use tails in a coffee shop WiFi rather than the home WiFi, I’d think coffee may be more anonymous as obviously there’s no specific isp to identify you by. Also for the new method you only need one usb? And what’s the minimum amount of space require? Cheers
@@wasted1975 it all depends what you are intending to do lol sure coffee shop could be a good option but hold their own risk for instants you dont know who else is connected to their wifi or what they are using dosent take much to sit and have a coffee on a kali based system and basically own the hotspot.
I installed it to my flash drive and now my pc cannot find the flash drive, not only when im booting but as well as when the pc is normally turned on, I can't find it in "This PC". Can anybody help with some info ? or better vid?
i can hear the sound from the system when i plug the flash drive but i cant find a way to open the drive
@@istovixi4306 Hi it sounds like something happend during the formatting of the drive, your usb is still working fine but windows wont see it until its been formatted with fresh partitions. i usually use seagate disk wizard to sort this but that free tool requires you to have at least 1 seagate, or i believe maxtor hdd installed in the system worth a try for you anyway. if not youll need something like acronis truimage etc. or see if universal usb installer can still see it and use that.
@@calleartechnology8769 thank you for the info, i formatted the usb and it worked !
I couldn't get it installed for like 3 days until i found your tutorial...you're awesome man❤❤
Thanks im glad the video helped you out enjoy.
thanks, buddy I have a question how I can access the wifi in tails ?? it's complicated I didn't get it
Hiya usually the wifi kicks in on its own if you cant see it top right corner of the desktop it may be that the wifi card on your device is not compatible.
pin drive **
can I use one 64 GB for installing ??
Hi yes you can now using the new method you do not need 2 sticks as the new method dosent require an intermediary tails to be made first, check out the tails website and have a look at the new method hope this helps.
How do you input the level 100+ mod on consol?
Hi the level 100+ mod needs to be added to the mods folder for the install directory for the witcher 3 you do not need to use debug console to use it, the mod simply fixes the game after lvl100 you wont be able to loot chests or pick up quest items without it cheers.
@@calleartechnology8769 thx alot
Is there a way to save Tails OS boots? I’m having a problem. I’m trying to install Tails. I add PHP Keys, emails, files, etc. If I were to shut down Tails, there’s no way to boot back up into it without completely starting fresh with a USB. Solutions
Hi it can be done but its not recommended, tails was designed to be a one use and wipe live OS so anything done will always be lost on shut down, one way is to alter the tails live distro yourself to include what you need during the making process of your live USB however that's not going to be easy to accomplish.
Can you still boot tails if you remove the laptops HDD
Hi yes you can boot into tails in a system without a hdd as your booting from the usb bypassing the hdd.
can you make video but do it on Mac, same topic
Hi thats something we can look into sure thanks for the comment i will drop you a message should we upload the video kind regards.
+Callear Technology Should one use VPN while on that operating system? Does it gives anything extra? Second question is if you use some kind of anti-virus while on that operating system and how would that work since all the data is deleted after you turn it off? Thanks in advance.
Hi a VPN is an extra layer of security which can be used across all operating systems, it can be used inside tails by configuring the tor browser to connect through your private vpn i could cover how to do this in another video though im sure plenty of people have already beat me to it if you wanted to take a look. Please be wary about the settings you change inside the tails os as any changes can impact the way it works and leave previously secured os fetures exposed leaving you at risk. As far as an anti virus is concerned there shouldnt be much need the computer you are using cant be affected by a virus as your locked into a live boot enviroment on an os that is extremeley resiliant to viruses by means that viruses just arnt developed to affect that os or any linux distro to be fair. Thats not to say there arnet any because some definitly do exist but they are very rare and should the worst happen at worst your live boot session and or your tails drive will be affected but nothing else even the memory is wiped clean on exit.
@@solistas8005 indeed yes to help explain boot up your tails and have a look at the system its self youll notice the hard drive on your computer dosent show instead your flash drive will appear to be the systems main hdd and anything stored in system memory get wiped on exit whatever you do inside tails you did in a live boot enviroment not you computers normal os.
@@solistas8005 I personally do use a vpn though it would depend what i was doing on tails as to weather i use a vpn on tails, but once you have a personal vpn it can be used on most all devices including adroid and ios, as well as windows and all linux distros, they can also be configured directly into aftermarket internet routers that way no matter what device you use the connection will go through your vpn. In general for a bit of browing the deep web tails alone or even just a tor installation will do tor on its own being far less secure than tails, in that windows or whichever os your using to run a simple tor installation is not protected in the way tails os has been. so really it is up to you how secure you feel you need to be and just how ananymous you need to be.
Whenever I try to boot intermediary tails from the USB, it fails and tells me "the system found unauthorized changes in the firmware, os, or UEFI drivers". Can I fix this without the risk of messing up my pc? I am using two Sandisk Cruzers (8gb for intermediary and 16gb for full) that are both FAT32
Hi this one sounds like a bios setting issue, you ll need to open up your bios usually mash DEL on boot once their have a look for your current boot settings im expecting you'll find you are set to UEFI only try switching that to UEFI/legacy, reply to this comment if you still struggle thanks.
Woah, I was not expecting such a quick reply on an almost year-old video. I changed my setting from Windows UEFI to Other OS, and it finally works! Thank you
Thats no problem Lucas glad that sorted the issue for you, i do try to reply to my comments well as quickly as we can anyways kind regards.
Having similar problem is it safe to change from UEFI to something else ?
hi there, I installed intermediary tails onto a 2gb usb stick and when i try to boot it through BIOS it says can not mount /dev/loop0 on //filesystem.squashfs. Is this because my usb stick is too small or is there some other problem?
Hi sorry for this late reply we have been rushed off our feet with work just lately so our RUclips account had to go on stand by, it sounds like something went a miss with the creation of your intermediary stick what i would do at that point is reformat the stick and start over hope this helps.
When I boot to the usb my computer is normal
In that case something went wrong in the making of the stick meaning that when you call for it on boot it attempts to boot from the stick cant then continues to boot as normal id try starting over and see how you go on.
I am able to boot tails and everything but Im unable to connect to Tor. I am connected to wifi however there is an X over the onion where it says onion circuits. I believe my school has a ban on Tor but im not positive. Is there a way of bypassing this?
Hi I'm unable to comment on that particular subject as I would probably be breaking multiple laws in doing so. I will say that you'll be better off using your new tails installation on a less regulated connection such as your own internet at home or multiple public hotspots. Whilst using tails and tor is legal it's protocols may well be banned on tightly regulated networks for obvious reasons.
Well, at my school when I use Google Chrome there is an app that unblocks everything, I'm not too sure if you can download it to use on other apps but it's called "Ultra Surf"
Yes but I'm using Tails OS not windows so Google Chrome isn't a thing.
Yeah I think I am just going to have to access through public wifis such as Starbucks.
There are a few things that could be wrong. 1. You sometimes need a WiFi Card/Adapter. 2. Changing your MAC address and Internet Protocol might fix your problem. (Now that I think about it, you'd need the internet for a VPN) I'm not sure if it's due to your school's security settings. I also recommend a Linux distribution OS. Kali, Ubuntu, Parrot, etc. I use Kali, and most other people who use Linux would recommend using it too.
I have some questions : 1) the internet connection used at first is still the one of our Internet service provider. So, are our ISP able to get our new IP used and the address of the websites that we visit ?; 2) with the Tails system, is it necessary or is it a good idea to use a VPN like Hidemyass, Cyberghost, ... ?
Hello each time you make a new connection with your tails installation you will have a different ip address your isp can see that you have downloaded the initial files as this part was done without protection however the things you do whilst inside tails will be incredibly difficult for anyone to see including your isp. As for using a vpn service inside tails it is possible though tricky to impliment maybe something we could look at for a future video though it has to be said that the tails os utilising tor is a prety secure service by its self hope this helps thanks for your comment.
Can you use a VM for the intermediary install instead?
Possibly although the method would be completely different and would be a whole other guide in its self. Some interesting comments about various methods have been mentioned we may look into making a few alternative guides for different installation methods thanks for your comment.
on tails cant change exid node proxy///////////////// tails.vpn.tor. proxy .........
Do I need an internet connection while you are installing and cloning into a second usb stick? And is it safe to connect my home wifi or better to do it in a local wifi?
Perdi Arase hi you won't need an internet connection for the second stage just to obtain the initial downloads to make the intimediary tails drive, as for wether to use that on your home network well it depends what your doing ;) but the use of tails to brows the deep web in it's self is not illegal some of the things you choose to do hovever may be thats not for me to say.
Your isp will know your using tor but wont know what your browsing on I wouldnt worry more and more people are using tor these days for privacy if you want to be really secure you can mask your use of tor through vpn
So for instance if I’m trying to buy people cards should I be fine home or no ?
What if there is only one USB port on computer
In that case youll either want a usb hub ( turns one usb into multiple ports ) or youll have to use another system to make your tails drive first
I downloaded linux on my chromebook how would put tails on to that
Hi this tutorial would guide you through how to make a bootable usb drive to use tails on, if you mean how would you use linux to make the initial tails usb then you would need to use something like wine to enable you to install and use univeral usb installer it will be an extra step in doing that but the rest of the procedure is the same hope this helps.
Callear Technology im using a mac book to get tails off of the internet but i was wondering how i would get it onto the other computer
it dosent really matter which computer you use to make or use your tails live boot usb drive once created it will boot up on more than one system in most cases simply plug it in and call for boot options on whichever system you wish to run your tails on hope this helps.
Ok so just to be sure, if I do every step correctly, then I will be able to use tails, from a USB stick. And without the USB stick my OS will be windows?
MP Toast yeah that's correct if you wish to use your tails you call for the boot menu on start up point it to your tails drive and your away if you don't call for boot options then your computer will boot from it's normal drive and stay on its normal operating system
Callear Technology thanks mate, but another quick question. How do I acces the boot manager (I have Windows 10 on a HP laptop if that matters)?
Hi i cant give a definate key as it differs system by system but when you first turn on your computer amongst the fist black screen pages that comes up in one of the corners youll see something like ( press F11 for boot options ) the F number will differ your may be F8 F12 etc youll know youve got it right when you get a window showing the hard drives and flash drives plugged into that system
Callear Technology alright, great video nice explanation, keep it up.
It keeps failing to instal on the second USB saying something about the kernel and partitioning failure
re format the second stick and retry or try another stick, there have been certain sticks that tails os for whatever reason dosent like hope this helps cheers.
Matthew Callear will do thanks lol I've been waiting to proceed for a while thanks again
Matthew Callear also do you recommend I get a vpn. And do i really need a virtual machine or can I just have vpn And tails
Vdot Gzz VPN services and virtual machines do two verry different things for you to be honest and both can be very useful depending on what your actually doing as a quick break down for you think of a VPN as a secure private tunnel that only you can see what goes on inside this is backed with high encryption methods and security protocols to protect you from anyone seeing your traffic, Now with virtual machines you get a whole virtual operating system great for stopping viruses or hackers destroying a genuine operating system as if such a thing were to happen the most that would get destroyed would be your little virtual machine easily snap shot and restored but would not provide the encryption benefits of a VPN server.
