Shooter is looking at the grave of Chubbs Peterson (Carl Weathers) when Happy approaches him. Weathers, who passed away last year, also played Apollo Creed in the Rocky franchise. In Rocky III, Apollo... who was Rocky's rival in the first two movies... befriends him and trains him in the third movie. So, in homage to Weathers, it would be interesting if something happens in this movie that causes McGavin & Gilmore to bury the hatchet & team up. If the dance is in this season, I wonder if they'll tell the story more chronologically than the game. Based on what we've seen, I also think most of the Abby stuff in S2 will be young Abby, except the few necessary present-day Abby scenes. I think they're giving Kaitlyn more time to bulk up for Seasons 3 & 4, where she'll take over as co-lead of the show. They likely used a body suit for THAT scene and then her big coat makes her look bigger in the rest of the adult Abby scenes we'll see this season.

I think Majors IS a good actor and could have been a Great Kang, BUT I did not like the way they were portraying Kang, and having Kang defeated by Ant-Man undermines him as being the next "Big Bad". Feel bad for the actor as don't think it was his fault.

I hate how the netflix anime and this new version is making the Oni Gauntlet a curse more than a gift. Like its slowly turning him evil as he uses it rather than it making him super human to fight the Genma. The Oni Awakening is supposed to be the equivalent to going SSJ. The .PNG floating souls in the beginning of the trailer looked corny like someone was moving them around with a mouse cursor. You are correct the animation did look choppy. It looked less OG Onimusha and more like Assassins Creed. Like the hand clips through the enemy when doing a backstab.

There's 179 cannon chapters, 200 if you count the side story, which is basically extras for fan service and to set up the sequel Ragnarok. Season one covered chapters 1-45, while expanding some of the fight scenes and adding light novel scenes. A rough estimate is season 2 will cover chapters 46 to 89/90ish to conclude that arc, and not spoil the next. So if it keeps it's popularity we're looking at 4 potential seasons in total, if they stick to the 12/13episode format 👍

After Solo Leveling, there is a sequel called Solo Leveling Ragnarok. This story expands on the world-building and characters a lot more, and I can see a lot of 5+ season content with just the current novel. It is not like Boruto to Naruto as in SL fans generally like the sequel as much if not more than the original so you can expect the legacy to keep going strong. Also side note: I read somewhere that the directors will expand on the story more than the manwha (It focused more on Jinwoo and kind of ignored the others) so it is gonna take stories from the novel that were not adapted into the Manhwa so the anime is definitely gonna be longer than the 200 manhwa chapters worth content too.

From my understanding, Season 2 was already like 60% to 70% done when Season 1 finished airing. A lot of manhwa readers were upset at the animation while season 1 aired saying Solo Leveling deserved better animation. In response, I remember the insider that was leaking all kinds of info said to be patient with the animation since season 2 was getting a lot more resources allocated to it. Season 1 was like the "tutorial" or "prologue", so it got less resources.
