I love how the Adult just, stopped. Saw the baby and took the time to look at it, reminding itself of what it was like when it was young. Probably hundreds if not millions of years ago. And seeing something like that, knowing its species can live on, gave the player mercy, as to not hurt the baby in the process.

I like that adult gargantuan leviathan doesn't give a thing about us when we take baby gargantuan from their sight. It's like: "Oh, you better fo take good care of ny baby. Bye" It's cute that gigantic apex predator just zooms to their offspring..

It really puts these creatures back into perspective for us. All this time, we’ve just seen gigantic monsters that could easily destroy us without second thought. Here, we see an animal excited to see its young and just sitting there while it gets to see its offspring living. If these creatures were as intelligent as Sea Emperors, I could imagine it saying to the human player “Thank you. My kind has a future after all, thanks to you.”
