@@joudy_73.29 I’m happy to help! Thanks for watching 🙌
Sadly it just happened to me for the first time, everything was fine until I connected the headphones for monitoring at the same time.
I CANT wait the next tutorial episode
Hey thanks so much for watching!! I’ll have another tutorial next week 🙌
Excellent. Short and simple!
i have it and its beautiful...the colours are just soft and so pleasing...that i have less to do in the colour grades...and the file sizes are totally manageable... which is something most folks dont realize...6K files are huge and will slow down your computer if y dont have something thats heavy duty... all my new videos on my channel are shot on the 4K and you can see how cool the footage looks... i call it the apple of cameras...
@@mylifepart2 Yep I 100% agree! Amazing colors, and 4k raw is a much smaller file size than 6k raw which fills up my hard drives fast!
super helpful!

For indoor fluorescent lighting set you wb around 2500K-3200K!
hi! followed along to balance my gimbal, to my knowledge it's all balanced but when i turn my gimbal on, it makes a beeping noise then says 'axis lock" how do i fix this?
@@charlottebigotto6208 Hey! Could you double check and make sure all three axis locks are unlocked? If not let me know and I’ll see if I can find another answer!
How is it possible that your channel didn’t blow up yet? I love your videos, keep it up! ❤

Hey thanks so much, I’m stoked to be back to posting!! It’s such a great camera, I’m actually planning on making a 2 year review again soon!
Hmm
Thanks man - just bought this! - what Len is best for this??
That’s awesome man, it’s a super cool setup to have in your kit!Happy to help :)
@@HeyQuinton Typically I’d say a wide angle lens any focal length between 16 and 35mm! I’m using a tamron 17-28 for my sony fx3 and I like that it’s super light! Most shots I believe I zoomed in to about 24mm
I’d definitely recommend using lighter weight lenses because the setup can get heavy if you add a chunky lens on it
Let me know if you have any questions!

Hey thanks so much! 🙏 I'm hyped they reached out I've been a huge fan of their gear for years now!
Hey is there another giveaway for davinci studio? lol
As of right now, I don't have any giveaways going but I'll reach out to them and see if we can do another one in the future :)
@@victor.melchorfilm ah okay thanks! btw, if i buy dehancer pro, but i still have davinci resolve free version. would that be a dumb idea?
@@gettriggered8404 No problem! I’m not entirely sure if Dehancer works with the free version but what you can try is download the free trial of dehancer and see if that’s compatible with the free Davinci version. If you can I would definitely recommend getting davinci studio because you’ll have a lot more options of video files and codecs that work with it.
Also if you are looking to save some money on Resolve studio you can find some licenses on ebay for a bit cheaper! www.ebay.com/itm/266906736473?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=nYUx7uwFRYq&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=6IMMHtY5Su6&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY I know it might seem sketch but ebay has a a really good buyer protection program that ensures you’re not getting scammed

Nice man ! if i have it on PF mode ,for example, at the time i shooting ,and for some seconds in between, i want to have it on L mode (lock) ,just for a few seconds ,by pressing the trigger button , after releasing it, will continue to shoot at PF mode again ?????? you know , at the same shooting , on th the fly. can i make it with triger button ??? is trigger button customizable ? You know ,at DJI gimbals , you can do that , but at weebill s that i had , when you press the trigger button , it was changing mode like forever , it wasnt coming back at the mode that it was before pressing the trigger button. You know what i mean right ? i like to have at 1 shoot a PF mode or F mode and for some seconds between to lock at something with trigger and unlock instantly and continue same shoot like PF or F or whatever.
@@kostasrestas Thanks for watching! I believe so once you let go of the trigger it should go back into PF mode however I dint believe the trigger is customizable

Can you explain video fps stuff like want does 4k 24fps mean
@@moepreme Yeah I got you! I’ll be working on my next set of the series later this month! But in short fps stands for “frames per second” generally 24fps is a cinematic frame rate because it looks very natural. 30fps is great for instagram and tiktok, and 60fps if you need to slow your footage down it allows for enough frames for slo mo

Holy 🥞
Omg you’re an absolute menace mic 🥜
Great series. It’s time to round it up and drop a video on the exposure triangle and explain how ISO, Shutter Speed and Aperture work together. Thanks for your time and efforts!
Thanks for watching and you're spot on with that! I'm planning on making the full exposure triangle video later this month :)
For more casual uses, all three settings "adjust brightness" but they also: - Time: controls motion blur - Aperture: controls depth of focus - ISO: controls image quality at lower light levels Personally, I prefer to use my camera on "semi-manual" (specifically A / Av). I will go full manual when needed, but it's much more convenient to leave the most flexible setting (in my case, time) on auto.
Yep! My past two videos I went over how aperture and shutter speed affect your image. My goal with this series was to educate people within 2 minutes, but I'm planning on making another video about the exposure triangle combining all 3 settings. Nice! I mostly shoot video so I don't find myself using aperture priority, however I definitely want to put more time into photography so I'll have to give that mode a try!
Did you shoot this in Redlands CA?

Here’s some ideal ISO settings for different scenarios! Photo ISO Settings: Daylight / bright conditions: 100-400 Afternoon / Sunset: 400-800 Evening / Night: 800-3200 (stick to lower isos if your image looks too grainy) Video: Always stick to Native ISO. If it’s too bright add an nd filter. Too dark, try finding light or you can bump iso up a bit, just try to stick to native iso for best performance
Can a monitor be mounted?
Unfortunately, there are no threads on the side grip to mount a monitor on the handle. There are 3 threads on the bottom which you could screw a magic arm to mount the monitor but you wouldn't be able to mount the tripod anymore
@@victor.melchorfilm Would be the perfect budget gimbal had they left the mounting for accessories. Thank you so much for quick response!
I grew up shooting actual film, and ISO 800 was considered unacceptably grainy for pretty much anything short of high speed sports action. Hearing an ISO of 1600 called “lower” is wild to me. 😆
I actually shoot film too and whenever I do shoot portra 800, I meter for 400 to get finer grain! But I agree it’s crazy how far cameras have come in the past few years, most modern cameras with apsc or full frame sensors you can push the iso to 10000 and with some noise reduction get a relatively clean image
Can a low shutter speed in a bright room damage my camera?
Great question! No it shouldn’t damage your camera sensor, the only thing that I can think of is if you have your camera pointed directly at the sun for long periods of time, regardless of shutter speed. During the Solar eclipse this year I saw some videos online of people frying their sensors because they tried to shoot the eclipse without an eclipse filter. So generally I’d just treat your camera like your eyes and don’t point it directly at the sun or strong light sources for long periods of time
@@victor.melchorfilm thank you so much❤️
@@victor.melchorfilm thank you so much❤️
@@Benykh Of course!
i never really touch aperture despite knowing what it does hahah 😅
You def should if you want more control! But also if you just want to have fun taking photos and videos auto modes can be more relaxing to shoot with!
aperture science, we do what we must, because we can
Awesome video!. I'm very new to davinci (came from sony vegas) and I do appreciate this tutorials you give out. I do have the free version but idk if it can have dehancer or not. Maybe its worth it upgrading to pro version? idk. But a few questions. From your examples, I see that if I use dehancer, its going to make my image achieve that nice colour look with the settings tweaked. For the nodes, I see you make 3 nodes, the first one to adjust any to your image, 2nd one and 3rd one is the dehancer adjustments. What's the second one do in your workflow? I also see other creators that they have 30 nodes for 1 clip but idk if that's correct or not (looks overwhelming). Is it really ok to just have a few nodes like 1 - 3 for one clip? Thank you!
Thanks so much for watching! I believe with the free version you will be able to add dehancer but I believe you can't export out either in 4k or 10 bit color, so I definitely recommend getting the paid version. If you're looking to save some money since it comes every Blackmagic product some people sell their Davinci license on eBay! www.ebay.com/itm/395521053405?epid=127914144&itmmeta=01J2AQV4B4GD8J1EQKSFWN4EG4&hash=item5c16e452dd:g:RAAAAOSwndZmjCYs&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA8MhLvgfyjAIXXgFvkNHvK4fO2%2FWkleWDkAT%2B39yub0zKZW2ceeuWP9%2FLbpSRCMOAdHe1tlhPrgHqOS0%2BzVXsYxCaMol69Ln0G9RDq18jMRjdmiYpEbvlS37cCrSee%2BqXlFx5SxnA79z7kGuVBa6q1puE78yBgTPBW4FDCr31JUlhC5DwBUv8SvPdOxBYo0J04l2PPb6tfKQ%2FSKPNa7UVF7vfp4e5HnkQ8y2emmxaXIXufkY91xuEBNJNYxvrnqABNAzr46OTh8E%2FKYXQKQqHrVERhzxCBPDBSPQg%2BoEHLrXI43UYLJEV31mg6GE%2BEtJo2g%3D%3D%7Ctkp%3ABFBM0sXs15Jk
Great question! So typically I leave a 2nd node just in case I want to make finer adjustments to my skin tones, for example in this dehancer video I made last year I did make skin tone adjustments around 3:08 ruclips.net/video/35lpAM13lSg/видео.htmlsi=6_WbP8T66O_AKI5E . However since then dehancer has gotten some updates, it's getting to the point where I don't always need to make skin tone adjustments! I have seen some creators use a lot of nodes for their color grade and that will definitely allow them to make a ton of fine adjustments to every color and tone they'd like. However for my workflow I find with dehancer 2-4 nodes is usually the max I use and it only takes a few minutes to grade each clip! Also cool tip if you didn't already know if you got a good grade on one clip, just select all nodes and you can paste that to your other clips to save some time :) Let me know if this helps!
