as some of you may be aware, i make quarterly playlists of my year and unfortunately the last two had been EXTREMELY, EEEXTREMELY delayed. the last one was due to copyright shenanigans which are never fun, and like 6 re-uploads. this one has taken forever because honestly doing THIS edit for the first song has taken so much of my time, as well as procrastination.

Its not a sad song to me at ALL! If anything, especially lately, it's helped me overcome immense regret and grief! The whole song takes you through a journey of reflection and absolution. You start in a painful, painful place where you recount all your regrets and mistakes you've made in your life and doing so is excruciating, but it ends in a peaceful place where the narrator lets go of the weight of his regrets and seeks to live out life and be a better person.
