government bullshiite killing nice rainbows for no reason.
guides like mcdaniel are dishonest.Do they tell their clients before that they will be lucky to catch 1 fish a day?I would,i dont live for money
Your hatches are great. Great hatches this year with sediment. Please look past the hatches/flow and warm Temps. Literally look at the non tagged coffee pot flock of feeding Pelicans. Pelicans that is not part of the traditional Island Park nests or Blackfoot problems. Wake up Henry's fork!!!! Dr. Literally said we got the bugs, why are trout still going down. It ain't the fly fishing community!!!!!
Help Henry's Fork Foundation!!!!
I love and agree with you Yvon regarding the simplification of the fly patterns and learning to modify your presentation for the situation.
Jimmy!
Great video Henry's Fork team and keep up the good work.
Great info Dr. Rob! Thanks
Wish Yvon could teach id10ts like Musk and Mor*n Buffet something so they would actually use their wealth for a true legacy contribution to something.
yet idaho fg kills rainbows on southfork for no scientific reasons
Thank you for your sustainable business practices, and caring about the earth and sea.
can hff help stop the senseless killing of rainbows on south fork? Thanks
One thing I have never seen considered is the mass loss of agricultural land due to new neighborhoods being built. I see the same flows comes from the irrigation canals but countless crops are being built upon. There should be a significant decrease in irrigation canals if we're losing significant amount of agricultural land.
What a great video!
Indeed, it's Fly Fishing Heaven!
These are two really bright and wonderful individuals and great teachers. Listen to Dom and Nelson and one will realize the richness in fly fishing. Yes, I was the father with that young son (age 12 y.o.) that was referred to in the video. To think that it was snowing and Nelson provided long underwear for my son and that Dom had him catching his first trout in a snow storm left an impression. That young man is now an expert fly fisherman and is driven to fish whenever he is able. He is now baking bread in Telluride Co(Blue Grouse Bread) and fishing whenever he can!! These two gentleman gave him a skill and interest for life......nothing like the Henry's Fork and the Henry's Fork Lodge!!
Loved fishing that river, it has been 50+ years
Going fishing with Yvon sounds like a dream come true
And he's a billionaire? Get outta here.
Love Dom my wife has fished with him since she was a little girl and her father has been friends with him for years I myself fished with him a few times and he’s helped me in so many ways to outfish my father in law haha I miss Dom and hope to fish with him again!!

I've only fished Freestone streams and when I went to the Henrys I felt lost. But I've moved to Ashton and I think I'll be on the stream most of the time and figure it out
I come back to watch what haunts me... Over & over&over. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing the river of my childhood! Such a wonderful place to grow up at!
