    I am a helicopter mechanic. Whenever I find myself working solo I will listen to your 4th Ed. podcasts over and over. I have learned so much and it has elevated my game in such a short time that my friend group has begun to call me the person to beat. My win rate is terrible but I've become the challenge that makes people think harder and more creatively about their moves because I've been implementing some of the plans I've heard here in my own games. One of my player group buddies pulled me aside the other day and said that when I'm not present his games are just for fun, but when I show up its time to learn the game.

    I really love your show/podcast, whatever you call it :) But, and this might just be a personal thing, for me the famous tangents, and tangents of the tangets makes it super hard to focus on what you guys are actually talking about. Because it's almost whenever someone explains something, something funny has to be said and then another thing and so on, and then you divert back to the point, and then it's become muddied and hard to follow. In short, no need to interrupt your guest this much (Rocko especially in this episode, even though I really do love you, and your insights) Still love to listen to the show though :)

    My biggest takeaway from discussions at events with Mike Hammond was to keep checking those FAQs even when they seem to not have a change... GW be sneaky and sometimes delete old rulings withour showing us the change in magenta! I've not made it work for me, but its worth noting that Gordrakks waagh boost lasts until start of your next turn (unlike waaagh itself).

    Just want to point out that Manifestations do not count as units for the purposes of abilities like the IJ ones, to my knowledge at least. They do not count as units for the purpose of doing battle tactics either. Check page 34 of core rules section 7.0. They are only treated as units for the purposes of movement, combat range, being in combat and settup up other units.

    Sigmar Lied that jerk

  • @jamagical267
    @jamagical267 7 месяцев назад

    I have only played sigmar for third edition but it feels like the rules create two types of players. One player knows the rules regarding pile-in and redeploy so well that they use them to their advantage. The other type of player doesn't understand the intricacies of pile-in moves and redeploys. What I think happens is that players that care more about winning will not remind their opponent of redeploys and will essentially mislead or trick them knowing how they plan on using the rules to their advantage. Lowering the skill floor on these things lessens the gap between these two types of players and ensures that people don't use the rules as a weapon against their opponent.

    • @alwaysstrikeslast9220
      @alwaysstrikeslast9220 7 месяцев назад

      It is a massive part of the game for sure, and Matt's favorite. With the changes coming up in 4th, we'll come back to this and see if this divide continues. Would you be interested in a breakdown of how to use the pile in to your advantage?
