That was a bad kind of treatement, accourding to medical books betadine is gonna make the heall process very slow.. Its a bad idea to put betadine in the dressing .. We must use normal saline or abraun product solution called (prontosan) which anti microbial and preventing the biofilms from becoming bacteria.. And its better to put a silver non adhesive pad fo dressing when there is an infection such like in the video, and change daily while there is active drain, using anti biotic accourding to pus culture which u have to take it before using the antimicrobial solution, to determine the best anti biotic , but usually it takes 3 days for the culture results so we must use antibiotic with broad spectrum untill the culture reavels the kind of bacteria.. Its not an easy work but it worth doing it because it could save patients with more than 85% of cases
