Quick video to give you the size and layout of this LWB van. When I was looking for a van I couldn't find clear measurements / dimensions anywhere on the internet. So here you go! Anyone looking to buy a Vario fo camper van build will find this useful. Please note I took the measurement just before I did this video so they may not be what the factory specification states.

YOU DID IT. I also have watched literally ALL the Luton conversions and always deen disapointed at the horrid layouts or hippy mess that many have done. BUT YOU, have done THE BEST, so congradulations, it will be very hard to beat. xxx
The measurements of the Vario are completely wrong. Also the shown Vario is just the medium wheelbase here.

This looks like a right-hand-drive van. If so, the side door is on the wrong side - you'd be stepping out into the middle of the road instead of onto the curb.

thanks! Had been looking for this vario seems to be the ideal platform but it's not up to standards of modern times unfortunately... a more comfy cabin would be so important, are there any good mods available maybe?

You kept the rear shutter doors. I presume it makes a lot of noise, esp when windy? Would you consider removing the shutters or has it been fine? Apart from that, well done. Awesome floor.plan
I like having the tail lift it doesn’t make any noise.
Some finds: The shown Sprinter has an overall length of 697cm and an inside length of 430cm, while the shown Vario has a length of 720ish cm and an inside length of 490cm. The even longer Sprinter measures 737cm, while its wheelbase is the same as the shown model (means it has a longer overhang). Nevertheless your video is very insightful since it visually compares the two. So thanks again.
