Resistance 3 is a very demanding game. Which GPU and CPU are you using by the way?

@@mindrover777 r5 5600x/rtx 3070 and the game is actually pretty playable, with zcull accuracy set to relaxed u get the highest possible fps, it's just that when u aim it drops to 1, so the only way to play is to set it to approximate or precise

@@androidgames1602 very strange. Never faced that issue. Try to lower resolution if you haven't tried that.

@@mindrover777 i tried with the native, still same. If i use zcull set to anything but relaxed fps doesn't drop like this. Strange indeed. By the way what rpcs3 version are u using?

@@androidgames1602 I am using the latest version of rpcs3. Very strange that a 3070 is dropping frames to single digit. Try to update to the latest rpcs3 , patch the game, remove and previous cache and rebuild again.

Game is fps unlocked by default. You need a high refresh rate panel.

@@flamingophone AMD GPU has given me some issues inthe past. Their driver support is not upto the mark. LETS just say i find GeForce providing better compatibility.

@@mindrover777 but AMD is pretty known for driver issues so i see your point. I have a friend that has an AMD gpu and he said he never had a driver issue.

Higher refresh rate panel required. Turn off Vsync. Set the target fps in the Graphics driver control panel, if required.

Unfortunately, this did not work. It is capped at 63FPS.

@@Fiki0 it is not locked. Disable vsync as below Go to %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Assassin's Creed III\ Open Assassin3.ini. Set VSync to 0 Also set in-game vsync to off Also check the GeForce control panel and check vsync settings

In the GPU tab, below resolution, increase the "resolution scale options" hit save. This should increase the overall sharpness. Increase one step at a time.

If ur sound bar is Dolby digital certified, yes it's possible. But the sound should be in ac3 format. Which sound bar do you have by the way?

@@akhilvarghese8669 if the motherboard has optical port , it will support Dolby digital by default. Does ur soundbar consist of a small display that shows the format of sound being played? Some zebronics soundbar show " Dolby surround" when it plays AC3 audio.

It was i7 3770. But it wasn't powerful enough to run at full 60. Infact it was hovering around 30-40 fps. The recommended CPU requirement is skylake architecture. Try to overclock the CPU if possible and check if that helps.

I am getting a screen that says the game must be installed on hdd and it takes forever and seems to freeze when its not even half way through. Am I missing something?
