I love and enjoy watching your video,I have learned how to cook, bake desserts,do housework,go to the grocery store,I have a therapy cat,I have support due to my low vision loss and I get around my city by the buses, lrt train, taxi and dats.
I was also born premature 59 years ago,I also have the same eye issues as you have,I am legally blind with limited vision with ongoing eye problems that are now stablized and my low vision went from 20/400 to 20/200,I have been using a white cane with a roller ball hook cane tip and I have a cnib Id card and I am independent with some help when I need it and accept the help.I have had a lot of help with an o&m mobility instructor over the years since the age of 19
Thank you to VABVI for this presentation. Dr. Young, in my years of experience, I only had one person that "apparently" dealt with Charles Bonnet and he was a person that was newly blind (total). Is it more common in this population? Thank you for this information.

you did a great job on this video. I live in Oklahoma and I am a voiceover user. I am totally blind and I always have been so it’s fine. I am fixing to get an Apple Watch I think. I was waiting for them to go on sale but I’m just going to go ahead and bite the bullet. Maybe wait till Black Friday but I’m not sure. Thanks so much for doing this it’s going to help me a lot when I get my watch. Good luck to you. Stay safe and warm. Pam
