I’ve only used it a couple times but took it to cape York on 4 week trip in August. I pre froze all my meals and ran it at -10(lowest setting) it kept all food frozen. I’m a fridge mechanic by trade and couldn’t fault it.

Don’t buy with 40amp dcdc charger. I had 2 fail in 8 weeks. I then purchased the control hub without charger and have fitted redarc 50amp bcdc charger

No it’s a gas hot water system

Hi sorry I don’t know the name of it as I borrowed it off a mate of a mate. I just had a Quick Look on eBay under crimping tool and you will see them. They didn’t come with the terminals. @ottouring I got a similar small compact chair from bunnings for $50 but my go to regular chair is one from anaconda for about $75 with the built-in foot rest, had about 5 now

@@ottouring yeh I agree. It does say it suits tourer rtt when you buy it individually but then it doesn’t when you buy it as a bundle with the MK3

Hi mate. 125r should come to on most maps. The black stump is my little getaway that’s not marked in maps however is popular and pretty easy to find if you spend a bit of time looking for it. Hope you understand Cheers Craig

Hi mate. Yeah mate I’m happy with how it turned out. I’ve had a number of issues with the dcdc charger though and will be putting in another brand. Yeah I paid full price for it. I won’t be using that brand again in the future though.

Hi Craig, Yeah I probably should have explained that. It’s so the bolts don’t seize in when tightened especially as this was before the cape York trip and the car was going to numerous creek crossings. It should make it easier if ever needed to be removed again. Cheers Craig

@@ottouring You lost me did you use some grease or never sieze, I always use it on my gear , and wheel nuts to I operated trucks carring wet river sand out of the creek if you never put Antysieze or grease on the treads they seize on,

Great video and good camera angles! The last starter motor I changed was on my Hilux. I don’t know how but the actual alloy housing had snapped through and the starter fell out! I’m not a mechanic either but I’ve saved thousands of dollars over the years by doing 98% of my own work on my vehicles. I’ve accumulated a pretty extensive toolbox in that time too. Bigger jobs like the timing belt etc, I’ll be leaving to the experts but pretty much anything else I’ll have a crack at.
