As an American, what shocks me about this video is how clean everything is. No graffiti, no gum on the sidewalk, no trash or litter anywhere. It is so pretty now but I imagine that wasn't always the case? My Grandfather left Vilnius in the 1920's with nothing and worked his butt off to become an American citizen, then brought my Grandmother over. I can only imagine what it was like back then? My Grandparents left before all the horrors of WW2 affected Lithuania, then the Soviet occupation

Love Lithuania. I went to work there in 2014 at the US Embassy and never left. Its my home and the winters are comparable to Illinois across America. No different. I too would choose extreme cold over heat. Lived/worked in Rome, Italy for 2 yrs and its horrible in the summer, even shops close down.

Wrong! 75F is not the highest temperature in summer here. In fact it is even below average, which is 75,5F. We already for 3 weeks have everything between 82F and 90F constantly...with 75-80F temperatures in lakes around Vilnius.

13:22 is Vokieciu g. (German st.) used to be part of the Jewish ghetto. After the war the stallinistic row on the left was built making a much wider street cause believe it or not, the russians were going to run a highway through the old town. On the right side you can see mostly original buildings. The street will close this year and will be remodeled to make better use of the public spaces.

On the other side of the mirrored constitution, should be something? l like to see mirrors on the other side. Making the area stand out with a woo woo
