Is the road %100 needed? Could i route a channel in plywood/foam and put a plastic sheet over it?

Simple easy setup. A late suggestion, is looking at using Lithium Grease to lube to reduce friction and noise (if there is any)

Thank you very much for this project. I was working on something similar and was fighting hard to get it go. Now I can stop, yours is actually better designed than my own I believe. Have not printed it yet, but I love it already. The turnaround is so much simpler than my design, great job. Thank you for not taking an arm and a leg for your design, lots of so-called designers publish BS and want a fortune for it.

Match box toys did something like it in the late 60 match box motorway it had self adhesive pins you stuck on your match box toys and a big spring ran in a grove it was nosiey from the two motors

Suggestion: create an alternate drive unit that can be mounted so that the motor is hidden below the surface on which the roadway rests.
