The piece I entered in the 2024 exhibition in Tokushima Central Park. The arcs were formed using clay slabs and then mounted on an iron base. The exhibition was held during October with 30 other contributors from all parts of Japan.

Spring cherry blossom time in Ritsurin Koen. Twice a year once in the spring and once in the fall the park is opened until 9 pm. This video shows similar images during the day and evening.

A row of Ojizo san in Miki-cho. They are made in the image of Jizo Bosatsu, guardian deity of children and travellers. They're also known as the 'earth bearer', so jizo statues are made out of stone, which is said to have a spiritual power for protection and longevity that predates Buddhist beliefs.

The weekly games started in the mid 80's with a few teachers from Wright Brothers Career High School in San Diego. With the passing of time a few left and some others joined. We haven't met for two years but hopefully we'll be able to get together again.

An exhibition I held in the Takamatsu Japan at the Sakura furniture company's gallery along with George Nakashima's furniture and a sculpture by Masayuki Nagare.

Gripping music, Bill. What is it? Wonder if anything suitable is available from the Buddhist sphere. Up early and catching the typhoon breeze! Is that the pond where they have a really big festival? I remember seeing some story about a connection with plague or drought.
