Microplastics in Our Kids
Просмотров 821 день назад
My husband and I started switching out the plastic cookware in our kitchen a while back but we didn't switch out our toddler plates or bowls or cups at first. The "norm" is for kids to eat on plastic plates in our families. So we just always did that... but after a while it was really making us uncomfortable.🥴 And the more we looked things up, the more uncomfortable we got. Finally we ditched o...

How to Make Red Sauce Like an Italian (PS It’s a lot simpler than you think!)
Просмотров 91Месяц назад
One thing my husband said when we started dating ten years ago was when we got married, he expected sauce every Sunday 😂 One thing I love about sauce is how PERSONAL it is: everyone’s tastes so different! 💕even I make it differently depending on the tomatoes I use, seasonings I’m in the mood for, and of course, the meat I use that night. If you have been thinking of trying to make your sauce, D...

The Dinosaur Place Connecticut Review
Now I'm hungry!!😋
I think you’ve tried these before when I have made them for Hannah!
I have, they're delicious!
What do you do for your teething baby?
👶🏼🦷
1. Pour 1C + 2T warm water into a bowl 2. Sprinkle 2T active dry yeast on top of water 3. Add in 1/3 C oil of your choice (I use organic olive oil) 4. Pour in 1/4 C sugar 5. Do not mix. Let sit for about 5 minutes (until foamy) 6. Mix in a large beaten egg 7. Add 1t salt and slowly begin adding in flour (I have used both all purpose and whole wheat they both turn out great) You will need anywhere from 3-4 C here so go nice and slow. 8. Once you have a soft dough, divide dough into 8 equal pieces and shape either into a ball for sandwiches and burger buns to rectangles for rolls 9. Cover & let rest for 10 min 10. Cover with egg wash (1 egg + 1T water) and season as you wish then bake at 425 degrees for 8-11 minutes until golden brown
What do you do with the ends of your bread??
Before I started doing this, I would just eat the ends of the bread right then and there but we have soup a lot and love having dipping bread so this is just something that works way better for our family!
I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
These always come out so great!
I spent most of this video trying to understand why you're in a pack n play 😅
@@MrDarrenbell09 😂😂 I was wondering if someone would notice… yes I was in there keeping my baby company 😅
@@MamaMacie95 love it! I appreciate the hustle. Thanks for the video.

What do you like to make with your discard??
That’s a cool tip
Thank you! I’m so happy you found it useful! 🥰
Freezing fruit is a great way to keep it from going bad if you find yourself in excess!
It’s so cute!!!
Sunday staple 🥰
😋
Hannah watched this and said I WANT SOME! That’s yummy!
Aren’t they so cute?! 😊
They are:)
@@WFK010 thank you!
Good to know!
What do you think?? 🤗
Hannah and I enjoy a medium rare steak whereas Steve prefers rare. So we don’t need to leave it on low heat with the lid closed for long!
My mom would even add maple syrup sometimes to make them extra sweet
I love to do brownnsugar and garlic! But I'm a big sweet and savory person.
Ooo what a great idea to add garlic, too! Thanks for sharing!
👏
Do you prefer yours with a little spice or without??
I love fresh guacamole!

Yum! I can already smell that basil garlic sauce 😋. The pasta looks homemade too
Basil and garlic together is my favorite scent! And yes! It’s homemade pasta :) I’ve been making homemade pasta for about six months now! Never going back to boxed

Would I recommend this place to others? - [ ] That TOTALLY depends on you and your kids. If a nature walk isn’t your thing? Well that’s half of the park… - [ ] But some people go just for the splash pad. I don’t think IIIII would spend $30 plus dollars on a splash pad but if you have multiple kids and you know that’s something they would all enjoy then totally - [ ] If your kid is into dinosaurs then for sure you should check this place out it’s so cute for them. But if dinosaurs aren’t their thing then I think there are definitely different options out there for you! Anyway, I hope this review was helpful! If you have questions I didn’t answer go ahead and comment I’ll post a link to their website as well and if you liked this video please give it a like and consider subscribing!
So blessed that we were able to come here and experience this beautiful work of nature. This trial is 100000% stroller friendly! That was huge. There are water pockets of all sizes for kids of all ages (baby Connor and Hannah both enjoyed today a lot). It's also dog friendly so long as your furry friend stays on a leash! We initially brought our girls but turned around and brought them back to the hotel when we saw how busy it was. I'd recommend smaller dogs here or to go when it's not so crowded if you bring a dog. Parking is only $5, too so that was great. Not into water? No problem. Come and just explore the trails, come sit on one of the picnic tables provided, or bring chairs. You can sunbathe on the rocks, or watch from a distance. This place was so cool I can't wait to go back!
This was from when we drove 6 hours (thanks to the many pit stops lol) to hike 1.4 miles up hill on wet and slippery rocks, with an almost 3 year old, a 5 month old, and two dogs to see Arethusa Falls. Totally doable, although I don't necessarily recommend it The waterfall was beautiful! There are little pockets of water here and there where you can swim! If we didn't have the kiddos we would have gone to the bottom of the falls for sure! The 1.4 mile hike back down was easier but more daunting while wearing a baby since it was so slippery from rain earlier that day. Stephen is a superhero. He carried Hannah 90% of the walk all while holding Mia's leash (for those of you that know Mia, you know that is no easy feat Luckily Lily is THE BEST DOG ** and she just followed us off leash so I didn't have to worry about a dog and baby. All in all it was a wonderful day
