If they hadn't been a Christian band, they would've been big. In the beginning, it was Rez Band, Stryper, Saint, Bloodgood,.. and BARREN CROSS. They started it all. I remember it well. Christian metal was a brand new thing, and I was a brand new creation. The timing couldn't have been better! I had Rock for the King, and it was really good, but then Atomic Arena blew my mind!.. and State of Control was great, too! The Christian metal scene was on fire as the secular scene became absurd, jumping the shark in late 80s.

Back in my day. I had bought this cassette. I knew nothing of theology. Arminian or Calvinistic. Now, with this song, I see this as an Arminian based theology song.

This is a classic song - album (Awaiting Your Reply). My first Christian hard rock and roll album, that came out around late 70's / early 80's and I wore out a whole bunch of cassettes, listening over and over. Glenn Kaiser, who I call Pastor Glenn Kaiser is such a gem, good hearted and kind man. I started emailing him years ago - he doesn't even know me, and he treats me like a real person, with a genuine interest in my family and my concerns. We basically got kicked out of our rental home in CT (no lease), and we ended up staying in a furnished home for a month - then we got a VA loan and bought our FIRST HOME in CT and were there for 2 yrs, and sold it and made a few grand, wow. Basically Pastor Glenn was right there and encouraged me the whole way through. I emailed him to ask for prayer, and he was right there and responded as a caring pastor would. He's in Chicago - and I'm in CT. None of the local CT pastors gave a crap about our situation. I wasn't asking for money or anything - just a caring heart and some prayerful support and practical love. PASTOR GLENN is the real deal, one of my favorite people on the planet.

A friend played their first album for me back in 84 or 85, Warriors of the Son or something like that. I hated it, still do. The 2004 re-recording sounds way better but it’s still just lipstick on a pig. At the time, I somehow managed to skip the second album. I’m glad that I did or I would have never given Too Late for Living a chance. I love that album and I’ve been a fan since then, even with the 4 million lineup changes. I listened to the second album years later on some file sharing sites to see if I wanted to add it to my collection. Didn’t add it and that was also the last time I listened to it. Thanks for posting this. Not enough people know how good of a band they.

One of the greatest bands of this style. OMG the tone of that guitar. They are so good. Unreal. Im glad they're still slamming it. Used to jam on it for years in the 80s and 90s. Badass band!
